Appearance
Red foxes are dog-like in their
appearance. Every red fox has a
slender body, small stomach and long legs that help them to run fast. With
those legs they could run as fast as
28 miles to 30 miles per hour! Red fox has small stomach that it makes
them digest food easily.Their slender
body makes them run faster to escape
from there predators. Usually red fox’s average weight should be 3.6 to 6.8 Kg.
Diet Red fox eats almost everything
they can find. For example small
mammals, fruits, acorn, and other vegetation. And when they can’t
find any food that is listed up there then they will hunt for a pet rabbit,
pet dog, pet guinea pig. to eat. Red fox are also like vulture they eat carrion.
Hunting Red fox usually hunts at night; they are nocturnal. Cause
while at night their predators are asleep so they can catch
their prey easily. Red fox injures animals and give it to there pups and let pups practice to have an idea what to do in hunting.
Habitat Red fox are mostly found in the U.S, Canada, Hawaii and
Alaska. They were also introduced to Australia. They live in grass land or forest because they can make a den easier.
