Food Lovers will get a ‘Taste of Conover’ & so Much More in Conover this June

We’re not alone in anticipation. Suffice to say, many people plan their visits Up North to coincide with this popular culinary event, which will be held again from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Conover Town Park, Hwy. K East.

The event sponsor, the Conover Chamber of Commerce, promises you will not go away hungry. Chefs and other veteran cooks will be poring over familiar and new recipes to whip up the best in breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert offerings. Each vendor will offer small portions of their unique favorites for you to taste. Try them all or select just a few. Tickets are available in $1 increments so you can try as few or as many items as you wish.

There will be activities for kids and music as you enjoy the food and chat with friends new and old. Make a day of it by planning a visit to one of the many lakes and trails in the area. Community and Trail Groups will be on hand with information to help plan all your activities in the Conover area.

CONOVER - We can’t stop thinking of Taste of Conover, but our watering taste buds will have to wait until Sunday, June 25 when the 16th annual event comes to Conover where the sampling of delicious specialty foods from local restaurants and other businesses will take place.

Other notable events in Conover include; the Chain Skimmers Water Ski Shows which begin on Saturday, June 10, the Take a Kid Fishing Event sponsored by the Conover Lions Club on Sunday, June 18 and the Callie Rohr Memorial Canoe/Kayak Race & Pig Roast on Saturday, June 24.
