One of the town’s most popular events - Music in the Park - is held on Sunday evenings from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., June through early September. Visitors can gather at Koller Park’s scenic amphitheater to enjoy live music performances by local and regional musicians. From rock ’n’ roll to country to jazz, the event schedule includes a variety of genres to appeal to all tastes and ages. New for this summer, the Manitowish Waters Chamber of Commerce is hosting Night Markets during which local artists and craftspeople gather to show off their talent, selling handmade items like pottery, wood carvings, paintings, photography and other crafts. For fans of bluegrass music, the Manitowish Waters Bluegrass Festival is another highly anticipated event taking place on Thursday through Sunday, July 27 - 30. Hosted by Cozy Cove Tavern & Restaurant, the festival draws enthusiastic crowds from around the region and features some of the best bluegrass musicians from across the country.
