AZAP Adventure Camp

Alaska Zipline Adventure Park and Sunderland Ranch are excited to offer Adventure Day Camp for your 4th grader and above.

Sample Schedule Below

Horseback Adventure: Ride from our ranch through the Red Mountain foothills on a wonderful trail that shows off incredible views, fields and forest. Trail rides may be broken into smaller group sizes to make them more manageable. Riding experience is not necessary as our wranglers will give a lesson before we leave. Rides will be 1-1.5 hours and each group may ride different days and times during the week.

Junk Wars: Your kiddo will dream up their best design, maybe a robot or a statue, maybe they will create an animal or a piece of art. Sort through our “junk yard” to find the perfect objects for your project, spend blocks of time working with your leader to weld or wood burn and create away. What will you create?

Zipline and Pond Play: Take flight on our tandem 10 tower zipline course. Reaching heights of up to 250’ and lines ranging from 150 to 1250’ long! This is a high flying adventure that we are so excited to share with your kiddos! Spend the rest of the day paddling the pond and exploring the salmon creek area.

Geocaching & Hiking: Dig back to your roots and use your decoding and map reading skills to find the hidden treasures. These shorter hikes will keep our crew active and exploring. Team building and adventuring at its best! Other activities are planned throughout the week.

Be prepared with appropriate gear and lunch, snacks and water bottles. All our activities will be happening rain or shine, so pay attention to the weather for the week. It is very important that your child is entering the 4th grade and weighs 80lbs to be able to participate. We are committed to having a fun experience that is full of challenge and learning. Our goal is to inspire confidence while problem solving and learning our role with nature. Stewardship and care of land is an important value in our program. Each day is designed with adventure and friendship in mind.

Visit www.akzipline.com to learn more about AZAP. We are super excited to bring this next level of adventure to your kids!

Our shuttle is available for an additional fee and will have a pick up location in Anchorage, Eagle River and Palmer for an additional daily fee. Imagine the ease of not driving to the valley and having your youth busy through your whole work day!

This is the best lemonade you’ll have this summer

Our best lemonade recipe maximizes the bright flavor of fresh-squeezed lemon juice and lemon zest, and adds just enough sweetness to temper its tartness. We muddled (or mashed together) one thinly sliced lemon with sugar to sweeten the lemonade. In this process, the sugar crystals absorb the intense flavor of the oils in the lemon peel and bring out the lemon’s flavor, making for a lemonade recipe that can cool down any summer day.
