School Age Care Program

(Ages 5-12)

Before and after school program provides age-appropriate childcare with quality programming, youth activities, and events. Clubs, activities and USDA approved meals and snacks are offered. Transportation to and from select schools is available. The program focuses on team-building, cognitive growth, and development of social awareness and problem-solving skills. Youth & Teen Program

(Ages 9-18)

Provides recreational options for dependents of active duty, retired military, DoD employees, contractors, or residents living on base under a Tierra Vista lease contract. Youth must have current membership and be between 9-18 years of age. Community service programs, clubs, and classes are offered with focus on positive socialization, recreational activities, cognitive challenges, and team building skills.

Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Ages 5+)

This self-defense technique is governed by the Five Tenets: Courtesy, Integrity, SelfControl, Perseverance and Indomitable Spirit. This “Family Style” program is open to YP members and their families. Call to register and for additional requirements.

Congressional Award Opportunities

The Congressional Award is the United States Congress’ award for young Americans. It is non-partisan, voluntary, and non-competitive. The program is open to all 14 to 23-year-olds. Participants earn Bronze, Silver, & Gold Congressional Award Certificates & Bronze, Silver, & Gold Congressional Award Medals. Each level involves setting goals in four program areas: Volunteer Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness, and Expedition/Exploration.
