Find a large grassy area to play Frisbee golf. You’ll need a Frisbee (or other similar throwable plastic disc) and a target. Tennis balls make great targets, as do orange cones, soccer balls, and laundry baskets. Set up your target, choose a starting point, and see who can hit the target in the fewest throws.

Take the stairs! This week is about not doing things the easy way, so even if you are not able to use stairs, you can apply this elsewhere.

FAMILY CHILD CARE Family Child Care (310) 653-6801
@ FCC LAAFB
Interested in Becoming a Family Child Care Provider? COVID-19 has shut down much of our country. Most of us are working from home while schools and daycares are closed. This pandemic is disheartening on many levels, but have you secretly enjoyed all the time you are able to spend with your children? Reading in blanket forts, rediscovering how cool Legos are, cooking together? Seriously how cute was your little one doing push-ups with you this morning? How about that connection you made with your older child when you involved them in one of your favorite hobbies? Right now, is a great time to start the process of becoming a Family Child Care Provider. Get a head start now so when things return to normal, you’ll be ready for a new normal!
Seeking Family Child Providers on and off base. There are immediate openings for the next FCC licensing class. Please call (310) 653-6801 for further information. If you are already a stay at home parent, this may be the position for you. Caring for your own child while earning income can be a rewarding business. *Unlicensed care: Any military ID card holder providing child care in their home for more than 10 hours per week must be licensed through the state and by the installation. Unlicensed child care may result in the loss of base housing privileges. If you suspect someone providing unlicensed care, please contact (310) 653-6800 or (310) 653-8383; a child’s wellbeing may depend on your call.
