The project was done by famous architectural and urban buro of Europe. Was a lot of work, as the colossal issue of the territory is Shishimskya hill, the heart of the district.

The main idea of the masterplan is a renovation of a private housing and soviet residential area in the district of Yekaterinburg. The masterplan separated into the 3 parts: «Sherbakova» (the part along Sherbakova street, a very density part of masterplan), «Village» (the part which is the renovation of a private residential area), and «Crown» (the part with hill and on the top the hill will locate a public space).

The parts have local public spacesattractions. The «Sherbakova» has a «Canyon» - green line, the point of destination is the top of the hill, the «Village» has a local park for residents, and the «Crown» has the top of the Shishimskya hill - a public park with an engaging view to the surroundings.

The SFA of the project is 320 000 sq.m. The number of floors varies from 7 to 25 floors.

The masterplan was redesigned by me the whole. My tasks were to rethink the Idea of the projects, protect important thinks, and redesigned according to to SFA. Exactly, the main conception was created in collaboration with architects of masterplan of Brusnikadesign.

The Idea of the project consists of the 3 challenges, which need to preserve as a basis for masterplan:

1. Green axis. A pedestrian link runs through the area and connects its extreme points: axis-oriented social facilities and public spaces. In the project, the pedestrian axis ends public space - the area of the district the value to which the sports center is oriented, built into the house.

2. Diversity of interior spaces Shaping complex interior spaces and buildings, diverse in function and content. Formation of the pedestrian environment inside the building and urbanization on the periphery along the streets.

3. Special building. Formation of a unique house of complex shape with accent in the form of high-rise dominant. Dominant - a landmark of the area, denotes a quarter area under construction.

A Masterplan concept based on 4 principles of urban design:

1. Safety.

2. Self-Realization.

3. Diversity.

4. Uniqueness compared.

The masterplan was designed by me the whole. Exactly, the main conception was created in collaboration with architects of masterplan of Brusnika-design.

Architectural project of a residential complex in Yekaterinburg

The project of the residential complex is a part of a huge development program. The project consists of a dominant residential tower of 33 levels and 4 blocks of 10-13 levels.

The main Idea of the project was to design high-density development with valuable architecture. When we designed we were inspired by European architecture, particularly dutch architecture. They are Amsterdam and Rotterdam the cities with examples of high density.

The design of the project was by pair of architectors - me as the architect and the lead architect. According to the design we designed the layout of the apartments and facades. Visualizations were made by visualization with our support.

For the project, I designed the layout of the apartments as a whole and partly designed facades with details. For me, the most challenging part of the project was designing two levels of underground parking with declined surfaces.
