“Tania loves the residents like they are her own family, you often walk in and she’s dancing or singing with them. She takes her little girl in to play games with them which the residents absolutely love. She often stays late after her shift and works really hard at making it a lovely environment for both the residents and the relatives. Tania always has a smile on her face regardless of how difficult the job is at times. They have had new staff in there and Tania has brought them boxes of chocolates to thank them for their hard work” Nominated by Kate Leivers

KIDSLEY GRANGE NEWS
Saturday 2nd August and residents at Kidsley Grange enjoy the company of a lovely, well house trained pony called Treacle. Treacle enjoys being stroked and being the centre of attention and our residents were happy to oblige. Luckily this time Treacle did not need to use the lift to make any ‘house calls’ as our residents all got downstairs to meet him. We hope to welcome Treacle or one of his friends again to our home, perhaps to get a Christmas carrot or two! Staff and residents at Kidsley Grange decide to brighten up the lounge area and three of our ladies practised their flower arranging skills. They did a great job and their efforts are now on show brightening up the dining area and small lounge. We have decided that we will make this a regular feature at Kidsley, a nice change from the fake flowers and a lovely way to use our residents’ talents.
We would like to say a big thank you and goodbye to 3 members of staff :
