Rose has recently taken over the position as Activities Coordinator at The Firs and as usual Rose has been enthusiastic in her role, thinking of new activities and already organising Christmas trips and entertainment. Rose is a reliable and crucial member of The Firs team and will support her colleagues whenever needed. She can always be relied upon to have the best interests of our residents at the heart of her work. Nominated by Rachel Tattershaw
I found Rose commitment to dignity very striking. We have a 5 point ‘job spec’ that we ask Derbyshire dignity champions to subscribe to as in the cover letter here. I think she works hard at all 5 and I admire this particularly after 46 years in the business!
C
ongratulations! to the Ashmere staff ‘Pam Wood, Jane Phillis, Lucie Holmes, and Kate Leivers who completed TrekFest on 6th September. They walked 27 miles in 12 hours! to raise money for the Alzheimer’s society and our ‘forget me not’ wing.
