At this point, I was determined not to lose hope.

I began trying every single plant protein product I could get my hands on… Soy… hemp… pea… chickpea… seed proteins like chia, flax, pumpkin. Even exotic proteins like sacha incha, fermented rice proteins, tocotrienols, and a laundry list of weird-tasting proteins that would make your head spin and oftentimes your stomach turn.

You name it, I tried it.

I tried simple protein powders.

I tried “kitchen sink” protein powders.

(Those are when they pretty much throw every ingredient known to man into the formula).
