Caveman
cephalopathy. Her mother was a very famous architect and interior designer. Nicole also has two older brothers named Aaron and Daniel. Aaron, who is the oldest of all the children, is a firefighter in Ohio. He lives there with his wife Rachael and their two kids, Aaron Jr. and Madison. Daniel is an investment banker on Wall Street. It is a financial district in New York. Daniel lives in New York part time but mainly lives in San Francisco with his wife Maya and their two kids Daniel Jr. and Olivia. Nicole says, “Ok, thank you mamma! Bye, I love you!” Mother: “Did I say I was finished?” Nicole: “Umm . . . no.” Mother: “Correct. I was going to add that you will go stay with your aunt Cecile.” Aunt Cecile was Nicole’s mother’s sister. She lives in Japan, not too far from the hotel Nicole is staying at. Mother: “I will send you her address, and you will go to her house and stay with her for a while until I call you and tell you to come home.” Like I stated earlier, Nicole’s mom is very protective of her. She hates the idea of her baby being all alone in Japan where few people speak English, so Nicole’s mom always finds someone she trusts to look after her child. Nicole says, “But Mom, I don't even know Aunt Cecile.” “Well this will give you a chance to get to know each other.” “But—” “No buts. You will stay with her. She is an artist. Now listen to me Nicole.” “Ok, I’m listening.” “Be good and call me as soon as you arrive. Bye, I love you sweetie.” “Bye. I love you too, Mom.” Nicole hangs up. She then goes downstairs in the hotel to find a food court. It is now 9:05pm, so most restaurants in the hotel she is at will close in twenty-five minutes or so. Nicole thinks that since Aunt Cecile and her mom are sisters they are alike. So, Nicole goes outside thinking she is in New York and tries to hail down a cab. But then realizes she is not in New York and she looks like a doofus waving her hands in the air at cars. Then she just goes on her phone and sees the address her mom sent her. She schedules a ride and arrives at her aunt’s house. She gets out of the car and gets her bags out of the trunk. She walks up to the door and rings the doorbell. Stay tuned for the next book to find out what happens next! The End
