Digital Model and Drawings: Established the Rhino file, assisted the Rhino to Revit re-modeling process, visualized most of the renderings and diagrams. Physical Model: Designed and built three physical study models final physical model.
Chicago's reputation of the "skyscraper city" has been challenged after the shout down of the Spiral, a 2000 feet residential tower design by Calatrava. Chicago desires a new landmark to secure its position. The project aims at exploring the relationship in between a super high -rise and its urban context while engaging with advanced construction technology.

Re-Evaluate The Proper Volume Of The Podium, Move The Ballroom Below Grade To Liberate Ground Circulation
Evolution of Entrance 9
Entrance Design The proposed tower has two sets of functions, private and public. We pay close attention to this issue, and It is critical to isolate the public circulation of the Hotel visitors and tourist from the residents of the condominium. The solution divides the car and pedestrian into the southern entrance and northern entrance. All visitors of the observatory and hotel ballroom would be dropped off from the southern entrance and enter from the podium; guest of the hotel and the residents would enter their destinated lobby which locates separately on east and west wing of the ground level of the tower.

SECOND CITY SQUARE REVIVING SOUTH CHICAGO DISTRICT BY ESTABLISHING A SECOND CITY
Residential Complex, Theater Near South Side, Chicago, Illinois Arch 574 Professor Tierney Fall 2016
Second city square pays homage to McCormick place's miesian structure, but re-programs and re-formats it for the 21st-century. The ideas of modernism such as repetition or uniformity have been reinterpreted through the parametric approach which alters for greater differentiation. Besides, as Chicago has the reputable comedy community second city, the project is named after the square of 2, the second city square. By preserving the arie crown theater, providing additional new theaters with flexible and mixedused would offer venues for experimental performance.

CONCEPT The pure grid and column system which Mies invented represents the ultimate architectural approach in the 1950s, and McCormick Place Lakeside center, which is designed by Gene Summers, an apprentice of Mies, has succeeded the core of free flow plan. It offers the largest conference area in its time, but it could not predict nor satisfied the demand of current conference goers, despite it has the great potential to play a role in the newly developing South Chicago district.

VISITORS' TENT FARNSWORTH HOUSE VISITORS' CENTER
Histroic Preservation, Visitors Center Plano, Illinois, Arch 576 Professor Kapp Spring 2016
The proposal for the Visitors’ Center is a Tent Structure, with the exterior envelope constructed with Telfer membranes, enclosed with glass curtain wall and supported by steel posts and cables. The soft butterfly-like structure not only allows the design to be easily assembled and removable on-site; it provides special flexibility. Juxtaposed to the free open plan of Tent is a prefabricated bar structure. The overall layer of the membrane is intended to define a broader boundary to the surrounding environment, offers the opportunity to integrate and design the larger landscape, at the same time introduce diffused natural light into the interior from various directions.

The selected site location is behind Farnsworth House, surrounded by and hiding behind the wooded areas. The topography is slightly sloped downward towards the House, which allow the Visitors’ Center to be a high-point to observe the House and its context.
Farnsworth House Suffer From Flood Issue
There is a path between Farnsworth House and the Visitors’ Center, which forms a loop, which provides the experiences of walking through the woods, obtaining views from multiple angles to the house. The Visitors’ Tent Pavilion offers the grand image of upward-oriented membrane-roof, hanged Spider-Glass curtain wall, with glimpses of activities inside could be enjoyed at entrance.

MONSTER ON THE CLIFF LAND END POINT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CENTER
Scientific Laboratory, Visitors Center Land End Point , San Francisco, California UC Berkeley Summer Arch[ADV] Summer 2016
Performing as a machine which is parasitic on the land end point, monster provide the researchers and tourists a multifunctional facility for maritime and ecological research. The facility, with advanced equipment and maritime equipment such as easy access boarding dock and underwater observatory, the monster is cable of accommodating seven researchers and artists for their practice. The shape of and the circulation of the system create an arrow which is indicating the direction of the mile rock, the maritime chapel. Maritime chapel is the very first religion facility that built on the riff.

In order to transform the site into a former army battery, the landscape of the Land End Points had been modified dramatically. The ridge of the former hill, which indicating a virtual line in between the San Francisco Downtown and another critical site, the Mile Rock Lighthouse, had been removed. The idea of creating a highly flexible machine snack-like structure which descending from the hill to the cliff and finally dive into the ocean would be a suitable solution that satisfied the need for both scientific research and public scientific education, the symbolic meaning of the building would trigger visitors to recall the memory of the past. By consolidating the design concept with urban grid systems in San Francisco, the project intended to echo with the profound historical and geometrical relationships within a wider urban context.

TEAMOJI Local Start-Up Asian Cafe
Bubble Tea Shop, Bakery 617 Green St.,Champaign, Illinois Co-Founder, Designer Store Rennovation and Brand Design Established 2017
Me, Jerred and Alex are friends since freshman year. Alex, honored with the Bronze Tablet in Chemical Engineering when he graduated, has a strong passion for cuisine. Jerred, a natural born entrepreneur, believe that we can take advantage of the large Asian population in U of I. Me, a future architect, is always seeking the opportunity to design and build something entirely base on my wish. We started our business in my 1st-year grad school when Jerred finished his master degree from UC Berkeley and Alex drop his Ph.D. from Cornell. After a series of twists and turns, we took over a former grill bistro and established our brand: Teamoji. Here are some records during the design and construction of our beverage shop.
