In 1998 Martyn Saunders and Jim Fagan combined forces to create Cubik Developments Pty. Ltd. Starting off with a boutique apartment refurbishment in St Kilda that proved to be very successful, the company expanded quickly, taking on bigger and more complex projects. In 1999 Cubik won the best Renovation Award in the City of Port Phillip for an apartment and retail development at 188 Barkly Street, St Kilda.

Founded by the late Adam Adams, Martin Adams Property has developed numerous residential and commercial projects in Melbourne and Mt Buller over the past 45 years. Prominent developments have included the Station Pier Condominiums and The Keys, both on Beach Street, Port Melbourne, the Arlberg Hotel and the Twin Towers at Mt Buller and a selection of boutique, luxury apartments and townhouses in some of Melbourne’s most sought after suburbs.

BKK Architects has a unique skill set that combines designing quality residential projects with masterplanning and urban design. This experience enables us to deliver projects that are embedded within their local context whilst offering the finest contemporary homes. BKK are adept at designing spaces for living that are functional, well designed and beautiful, whilst maintaining a professional rigour that ensures the highest quality outcomes from design conception through to realisation. BKK have a depth of experience in bespoke homes that has expanded into their work designing a range of projects ranging from boutique apartment developments to large multi-level apartment towers. Their work is widely published both in Australia and internationally and they have won numerous awards for their projects.

John Patrick Pty Ltd was formed in 1982. The Principal, John Patrick has managed the firm since its inception.

Further developments followed, including the conversion of the Alsops Lolly Factory at 120–124 Carlisle Street, St Kilda, the conversion of the Malvern East Theatre at 92–98 Waverley Road, Malvern East, into 24 apartments and 3 retail spaces, and most recently, the conversion of a car park at 21–27 O’Connell Street, North Melbourne into 25 apartments. All of these projects have been completed on both budget and time, with the highest quality possible.

Today brothers Alan and Mark Adams continue the family tradition of developing landmark projects in quality locations.

The practice is based in Melbourne and serves a range of clients locally, inter-state and internationally. As Principal, John Patrick has continued to build his reputation as a leading Australian authority on amenity horticulture and design, historic landscape conservation, landscape management and ecology. He has augmented these skills within the practice by assembling a highly qualified and experienced professional team of designers with expertise in landscape architecture, urban design, ecology and horticulture. The practice has carried out a broad range of commissions encompassing both small and large scale projects for private, corporate and government clients.
