A LETTER FROM PRESIDENT Hey, AIESEC THU.I have never been so proud for you of opening this application and start to take this bold decision, give yourself another challenging but meaningful year. I will start with emphasizing the fact that the past 1year VP experience and 6 months LCP experience was the best days of my life. I joined AIESEC THU in 1213, also is the first semester of my university life. It’s almost 3 years. Every time when I face the question about “to leave or to stay? ”, I always fall in hesitation. I know, there will be something more interesting or wonderful out of AIESEC, but there is a voice lingering in my ear. He remaindered me again and again about “ How much I don‘t want to leave” & “How much I love AIESEC THU, I want to make our family better and stronger.” There was some one said that “AIESEC will only exist in your university life, but the other things that you want to do can be done in your future. If only you leave AIESEC, you cannot come back anymore.” It’s the key reason that makes me stay here instead of accepting the temptation of the outside world. Once I decided to stay here, then I doubt myself if I have the ability to higher position not only for self-development but also for stronger AIESEC THU or not. I was afraid of I would fail. Then I start to ask others about should I apply for LCP? But I realize that once I consult with other I need to apply or not, the desire of this position in my heart just become bigger and bigger. Why not give yourself a shot to explore the best chance ever to grow intensively? You will never be qualified as long as you don’t give yourself a chance to try . And someone tell me “Don’t worry about the failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.” And I know if I missed the chance, it will be a pity of my whole life. LCP experience is really must experience for you not valued by its substantial benefits but what you can learn and grow. Every moment you are forced to strengthen your expertise and knowledge, this is the position can really bridge the dream and reality in this organization, if you really want make some changes happen, everything is possible. Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Governance and Accountability - Maintain membership status with whole EB team. - Communicate and monitor with MC operation and national decision. - LCP is the ultimate decision maker and sole person responsible for the activities and actions of LC Finance and legal sustainability - LCP and VP F&L are responsible LC financial control and investment. - Maintain LC legal operation and improvement with VP F&L. Long Term Strategy and Direction - LCP is responsible for facilitating implementation of LC direction. - LCP together with EB team are responsible for the direction of AIESEC THU. - LCP is in charge of sensing LC bottleneck and cope with fundamental revolutions - Communicate organization value and vision toward the network Team management - Tracking performance and organization growth. - Coach and support EB team to do synergy and deliver national & LC strategies - LCP is responsible for day-to-day management of EB team Communication within network - Communicate with LC MB & MS to align LC direction - Build up positive network with MC and other LCPs Representation of AIESEC THU - LCP is responsible to represent the AIESEC TW THU externally and internally (Global/National/LC/External)
LCP Criteria assessment
Prefer background & experience • At least 1 year AIESEC experience or recommended by election board. • Have join at least one national conference or international conference. • Have at least one leadership experience.
