The KOUZINA culinary festival KOUZINA is the premier culinary event of the year in Eastern Halkidiki! In the shadow of the sacred Athos, in the cove of the bay of Mount Athos, on the sandy Ammouliani Island, at the foot of the Aristotelian mountain, in the Strymonikos bay, in the Akantios Bay, on the verges of Cholomontas, we invite you to smell and taste our organic products and flavors in a magnificent culinary feast, in which you participate as of this day!

Enjoy! The «Molos SeaSide Restaurant» In front of the sea of Nea Roda, on the white sand, Fish Restaurant Molos is the freshest choice for a typical Greek lunch or dinner. The beautiful installations, the exceptional decoration combined with the surroundings, and the kind service will make you love this place and visit it all the time. What can you do at MOLOS? A lot! Enjoy swimming to the organized beach or enjoy a tsipouro meal with fresh sea mezhe by noon, or ice coffee in the afternoon, and a tasty dinner..., only one step away from the sea water. Today, the executive chef Dimitris Michailidis and the KOUZINA head chef Dina Nikolaou will deliver a cooking class, showing how the Greeks cook the fresh sea food. The demonstration will be held on the central pier. Its theme? Sardines, filled with vine leaves. Because its May! The dinner will be continued on the balcony of the restaurant. Menu THE FEAST OF ANCHOVIES & GRAINS Mezhe: Salad with wild artichokes from Ierissos hills, tomatoes and rosemary Tzatziki made by Arnea’s yogurt «Karayianni» included fresh anise Eggpland «Ayioritiki» (Mount Athos recipe) with local feta cheese and tomatoes Feta from Ierissos*, wrapped in dough crust Marinated anchovy**, freshly caught in the Gulf of Akanthos Spicy pepper from the gardens of Nea Roda Fresh octopus, cooked in his juice Extra fresh fried anchovy Sardines filled with vine leaves*** – Dina’s Nikolaou recipe Grilled calamari, filled with wild herbs – Dina’s Nikolaou recipe Dolmadakia Fresh leavened bread – local flour from local wheats (*Ierissos is an important cheese-producing area in Eastern Halkidiki, since the Stathoris dairy produces many kinds of delicious white and yellow cheeses, made by excellent quality of fresh milk) (**The fish and seafood of Mount Athos are renowned for their exquisite flavor. The reason they are so different from the rest is that the waters of the bay are deep and clean, as the area has many sea currents and there are no organized cultivations to affect it. Thus, our seafood is caught in very deep waters, with the highest salinity in Greece, and rich in plankton and clean food, since no rivers or streams end up in the bay to disturb the balance of the water composition) (***In the local vineyards vine leaves are produced, fresh and tenderly, which they wrap rice-filling (harvest from Strimonas River) and fresh herbs from the Komitsa gardens)
