A Man of All Seasons
by Trisha VentkerDeion Sanders, brash, confident, and teeming with raw vitality, is a man of many seasons. Highly intelligent with an eye for detail and overflowing with passion, he can make a stylish entrance to a social gathering not unlike the British Royalty. The head football coach at the University of Colorado Boulder, Sanders works in a business that sports fans avidly follow while pacing the sidelines coaching his Buffaloes. However, during his playing career he was rarely on the sidelines. Some fans might not be aware that Sanders has among the best credentials on the planet and is noted among the elite athletes of our time for his long-lasting agility, speed and smarts. He began his career at Florida State University and played three sports for the Florida State Seminoles, football, baseball and track, and was honored with an induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. Sanders played an incredible fourteen seasons in the NFL (National Football League), which is an implausible record considering the average players career in the NFL is 3.3 years. During his football career he won two Super Bowl titles, was an eight-time Pro Bowler and a 6 first-time All-Pro selection. He was inducted into the prestigious Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
Inconceivably, Sanders moreover played nine seasons of professional baseball, and playing for the Atlanta Braves in the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays, is the only player in a World Series to hit at least .500 with five stolen bases, making him the only athlete to play in both the Super Bowl and a World Series. Records are made to be broken, but I think this record will be long standing. Tagged “Prime Time” during his playing career and “Coach Prime” during his present coaching career, the nickname was given to him by a childhood friend after a high school basketball game when Sanders scored 37 points along with two back-to-back dunks. The nickname was also reinforced by his mother. The name refers to the peak hours of television when viewers tune in for the most significant and best entertaining shows.
Sanders, college educated with a degree in Business Administration, worked as a commentator on the NFL Network, has appeared in numerous television commercials, is a spokesperson for various major products, and performed a medley of his songs from his Rap album while hosting Saturday Night Live in 1995. With active ideas bursting in his thoughts, he authored two revealing books, including the brutally honest, Power, Money and Sex: How Success Almost Ruined My Life and Elevate and Dominate: 21 Ways to Win On and Off the Field. For all of his diverse endeavors in life Saunders is noted as a loving, caring and compassionate father of his five children. Ranging in ages from the 20’s to the 30’s with brilliant DNA, all are high achievers and college educated. Shedeur and Shilo played for the Buffaloes and their father in the 2023-24 season, while Shelomi, the youngest of the five, plays basketball for the Buffaloes’ women team. Deion Sanders, diverse and gifted, is a man of all seasons. Go Buffaloes!

withJDTell us about yourself and how you started Oro Landscaping:
I am of second generation descent from Italy. My family originated in Calabria and moved to the United States to expand their opportunites.
JDWhat inspired you to build luxury landscapes and start a business?
My entrepreneurial interests began when I was twelve years of age. I created a small lawn-mowing business where I would tie a lawnmower to the back of my bike so I could get to my clients’ homes. It started as a very humble business and then it grew into a landscaping enterprise. Years later while in college, a pivotal moment came on a rainy day when everything changed. I spotted a property with potential, knocked on the owner’s door, and secured a landscaping contract worth
$54,000, which catapulted me into the world of design and construction. The turning point arrived when I made a bold decision—to sell everything I owned and invest in my vision. With determination as my fuel, I hit the road with a new black truck and a clear mission: to craft landscapes that exude luxury and excellence.
DTell us what Oro Landscaping means to you:
JOro Landscape isn’t just a business; it’s a testament to my resilience and passion. My values are deeply woven into every project, symbolized by the gold horn I wear for luck — a nod to my Italian heritage and pursuit of excellence.
Oro Landscape is synonymous with prestige and artistry, creating landscapes for not only Colorado’s most discerning clients, but to clients nationwide. Each design reflects my personal journey — from adversity to triumph, from dream to reality.
DTell us something most people don’t know about you:
JAlthough I was fortunate to attend college on a full scholorship and learn buisness processes, I decided it wasn’t for me. I wanted to persue the dream of owning my own business.

In the next five years, my team and I are focused on growing Oro Landscaping. I will continue my commitment to transparency, outstanding customer service and onpoint artistry. During this venture I now have pleased over 1,000 clients with breathtaking transformations! My goal is to establish Oro Landscaping as the leader in creating the most unique and exquiste outdoor spaces worldwide. Own an HGTV Designed Home in Heron Lakes at TPC Colorado
Angela Jones PR Manager, LIV Sotheby’s InternationalA home designed by husband-and-wife team Bryan and Sarah Baeumler is currently on the market in the Heron Lakes at The Players Club (TPC) Colorado community. Built in 2022, the home was featured as one of four residences in Heron Lakes on HGTV’s design competition show Rock the Block Season 4. On the market for $3,300,000 this four-bedroom, seven-bathroom, 5,819 square foot home comes furnished and is situated in a cul-de-sac with forever unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountains.
The Baeumler’s are known for their work on HGTV’s Renovation Island where they restored an entire Caribbean resort on a remote island in the Bahamas. Their work on HGTV’s Rock the Block brought them to a much different climate in Colorado in 2023. The show features top HGTV designers who have just a few weeks and a limited budget to renovate four blank-slate homes within a new development. Using their signature styles, each team of two designers competes to net the highest appraisal on the home they design.
Regularly referred to as “The Spa House,” the Aspen-chalet style home chosen by Bryan and Sarah at 2517 Southwind Road has a gorgeous open floor plan including a formal dining room with direct views of Longs Peak and Mount Meeker. The designers chose custom finishes including white stone throughout, and a dual waterfall Calacatta marble island in the gourmet kitchen. A dual fireplace in the living room and back deck provides a luxury experience indoors and out.
“During Season 4 of Rock the Block, competitors were asked to bring a Colorado element indoors for one of their design challenges. Bryan and Sarah chose the luxurious white stone featured throughout the home, with a full stone wall that extends from the main level through to the basement,” said DJ Johnson, broker with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty.
Envisioning the Colorado lifestyle is easy as you step out on the back deck where you can watch beautiful sunsets while using the outdoor BBQ kitchen. On the lower deck, play ping pong on the outdoor table, taking in the glorious mountain views. Or roast marshmallows and sip wine while sitting next to the fire pit on the built-in stone bench.
The interior is a masterpiece in neutrals, applying signature touches with the use of texture in the stonework and the incredible tile used in each of the bathrooms. The piece de resistance is the full spa set up in the basement which includes a massage room with dual massage tables, a fitness room with free weights and a stationary bicycle, a Chromotherapy infinity tub, and a built-in sauna to relax sore muscles. Rounding out the features in the basement are a wet bar and a children’s playhouse built underneath the stairs.
Voted “Best Exterior” of the four Rock the Block homes, Johnson points out “the white stone theme continued to the exterior to create a uniform, beautiful look and feel to their spa-themed home.” Community amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, two community restaurants with a third under construction, and a 65,000 square foot grand clubhouse. In addition, outdoor recreation abounds with 8.7 miles of trails for hiking, biking, or running, and three reservoirs with a private lake club and over four miles of shoreline.
“What many do not know is that during the time the show filmed in Heron Lakes, the four designer teams lived on-site in our community and got to enjoy all the recreational opportunities that residents have access to - boating and fishing days on the reservoirs, swimming at the resort pool, fitness center, personal training access and more,” adds Johnson.
Homes located in the gated Rookery section of Heron Lakes offer deeded membership to TPC Colorado (a $40K value). Designed by golf course architect Arthur Schaupeter, the course was built for golfers of all levels, featuring seven sets of tees. Fairways are big and broad and have subtle challenges built into the natural terrain, with incomparable water and mountain views.
Please contact DJ Johnson, 970-213-0648, for more information on this home or the Heron Lakes at TPC community. Season four of Rock the Block is now streaming on Discovery+. Season Five of Rock the Block, featuring Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, is airing now on HGTV.

Populus: Denver’s Newest Luxury Hotel
by Trisha VentkerDenver continues to evolve as a luxury destination for discriminating travelers, while the anticipation surrounding the upcoming Populus Hotel is profound. Fittingly located in the heart of the city, this innovative hotel promises an unparalleled experience for guests seeking both luxury and sustainability. I had the pleasure of visiting the site and with notebook in hand experienced an exclusive tour that left me with good thoughts for Denver’s hospitality.
I was greeted by affable General Manager, George Prine, whose passion for hospitality and commitment to excellence was instantly evident. A property is only as good as its leader, and Prine with years of experience in the luxury hotel industry, which includes significant properties in Europe and the United States, and I felt that him at the helm his motivation and spirit will set Populus apart as a beacon of Denver hospitality.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Curtis Landrum, Populus’ Director of Food and Beverage. Landrum’s background in culinary arts and his dedication to creating exceptional dining experiences was evident throughout the hotel’s design. His commitment to excellence and innovation in food and beverage service will hopefully elevate Populus to the elite circle of Denver’s culinary creations.
Populus’ architectural scheme owes its brilliant design to the Studio Gang, a renowned Chicago-based company. Cleverly drawing inspiration from the majestic Aspen trees that enhance the Colorado landscape, Studio Gang has crafted a striking exterior skin that mimics the organic forms found in nature. This innovative design pays homage to the hotel’s natural surroundings and also creates a visually stunning aesthetic that sets Populus apart as an icon of Denver’s modern architecture. Behind the scenes, the project is overseen by a team of specialists, including the talented Beck Group, holding tight as the project manager and builder, and who provided both preconstruction and construction. Their diligence and commitment to quality ensure that Populus will exceed the highest expectations.
A New Denver Landmark
Rising 13 stories into the clouds with 265 rooms, Populus will be a landmark at the corner of 14th and Court Streets in downtown Denver. Developed by Urban Villages, Populus embodies the forward-thinking ethos of Denver’s urban landscape. With a focus on sustainability and community engagement, Urban Villages has brought together a team of hospitality professionals to create a truly transformative experience for guests and residents alike. Walking through the corridors of Populus, I couldn’t help but marvel at the care and thoughtfulness that has gone into every aspect of the hotel’s design, from the stunning lobby with soaring ceilings and panoramic views of the city to the meticulously appointed guest rooms and suites. It seems that every element has been carefully curated to provide guests with a memorable encounter. But in my mind and perhaps most impressive is Populus’s commitment to sustainability. Noted as the first carbon-zero hotel in Denver, Populus is setting a new standard for environmentally conscious hospitality with its use of renewable energy, to its commitment to zero waste, and is leading the way in sustainable luxury.
My concluding thoughts. The upcoming opening of Populus is a solid foundation for a wonderful celebration for residents of Denver and luxury travelers. In place we have a stunning design, a solid commitment to sustainability, and an emphasis on superlative service. Populus is looking forward to redefining the luxury hotel experience in the Mile High City. Upon departing the property I felt excited for the future of Denver’s hospitality scene and eager to experience all that Populus has to offer.

QPashmina De Shon and Christopher Lacey launched Bar & Cocoa with a mission to transform the bean-to-bar chocolate experience into an exciting journey. Today, Bar & Cocoa boasts a collection from over 60 makers across more than 30 countries. The chocolate featured is part of a supply chain that surpasses the transparency and ethical standards of Fair Trade or mainstream brands, offering a superior taste. This commitment allows customers to explore the rich, varied flavors of different origins, offering a gourmet experience far removed from the uniform taste of mass-produced chocolate.

PDTell us about yourself and how you came to Colorado:
I moved to Colorado on a whim in 2003, inspired by a philosophy book on Integral theory, and joined a forward-thinking non-profit focused on holistic solutions based on that philosophy. Over time I found that I had found a home in Denver through the friends I had made.
PDWhat got you interested in the chocolate business?
I’m a foodie at heart, always fussing over ingredients for cooking and what I bought. But chocolate? Not so much. It always seemed too pricey, and I couldn’t get why. Then I took a chance on a craft chocolate bar, and holy cocoa beans, I realized that chocolate was so much more than the singular flat flavor of “chocolate” that we’ve been accustomed to as kids. The bar I ate had so much flavor,
it’s like wine or coffee, there’s nuance that can be affected by the type of cacao and where it’s grown. Even more alarming, I learned that much of the cacao comes from places steeped in extreme poverty, relying on slave labor and child labor, with over 2 million kids caught in this heartbreaking cycle. It hit me hard—how can something that brings us so much joy be rooted in so much suffering? I realized that cheap chocolate is cheap for a haunting reason.
After a few disappointing experiences shopping for chocolate options online I thought “I can do this better.” So with a bit of marketing know-how and a lot of passion, we launched Bar & Cocoa. Just like that, I was in the chocolate business, turning my curiosity into a full-blown love affair, but with a mission to make it ethical and transparent, celebrating the love, joy and the celebration of chocolate.
DTell us what’s the most incredible experiences you had while searching for your products?
POne of the most humbling experiences I’ve had on this chocolate journey took me to the Upala cacao farms in Costa Rica. It wasn’t just incredible; it was eye-opening. Seeing cacao grow right before my eyes, I was struck by the pride and dedication of the farmers and their families. They weren’t just growing cacao; they were cultivating fine-flavored beans with a respect for the land through sustainable agroforestry, all while earning a premium that far exceeded the norm. What got to me the most was seeing how much of their
hard-earned income was invested back into their children’s education. These folks were humble, yet their lives were moving forward, showing me a glimpse of real upward mobility. It was here that I realized, this is the way chocolate should be made—ethically, sustainably, with a positive impact on the very people who lay the groundwork for our indulgence
PDTell us something most people don’t know about you:
I was born in Taiwan, and immigrated here when I was 17 for college.
PDWhat’s your 5 years goal for Bar and Cocoa?
In the next five years, we’re focused on growing Bar & Cocoa to further educate people about the richness of premium chocolate and its positive ripple effects on farmers, sustainability, and the preservation of heirloom cacao. Our aim is to make Bar & Cocoa a prime example of how a business can thrive by doing good—supporting ethical practices and offering a great workplace.

Punta Mita Pleasure
Trisha VentkerPunta Mita Pleasure
Trisha Ventker
Part Two
I was enormously eager to revisit Punta Mita for the second time and to experience and cover editorially the Four Seasons and their extravagant Naviva, a unique 15 tent resort. Traveling with my friend Stephanie, we booked two nights at the Four Seasons and two nights at Naviva. Looking back on the visit, four nights at each location would have been an exceptional choice. The 1,500-acre Punta Mita Peninsula, 26 miles north from the Puerto Vallarta airport, is an entity unto itself and regarded as the most opulent destination in North and Latin America, and I agree.
Punta Mita is positioned on the northernmost tip of Banderas Bay, and bordered on three sides by nine and a half miles of Pacific Ocean, white sandy beaches and coves, the name originating from the Aztec word “mictlan” which appropriately means “gateway to paradise.” Punta Mita is gated, private, and ultra-luxurious, and the feeling upon arriving is that you are undeniably entering a distinctive destination. From my first trip I recognized that Punta Mita is home to multimillion-dollar villas, 15 residential communities and hotel resorts, which includes the Conrad and St. Regis properties, the 117 room Four Seasons and Naviva, a huge tennis complex, and two of the world’s most prominent private golf courses. Golfer or not, Bill Gates acquired the Punta Mita Four Seasons Resort and adjacent land for 200 million in 2014 and Punta Mita in my travels is possibly one of the most luxurious booking destinations. (Please see Denver Colorado Luxury Magazine, Spring Issue 2024).
A Destination with Memories.
Both properties left an indelible mark, and I say this with reverence because I’ve reported on a number of exceptional hotels and resorts in North America and Europe. My stay at Naviva and Four Seasons Punta Mita was nothing short of extraordinary. Naviva’s stunning nature integrated with its exceptional service, created an ambiance of pure luxury and relaxation. From the opulent accommodations to the impeccable dedication to detail, it surpassed all expectations. Moreover, the culinary journey at Naviva was an experience to remember. The varied and tantalizing cuisine highlights the culinary expertise of the chef, leaving me in awe of the flavors and presentations offered at every sitting. My travels have revealed to me that service is a top priority, and Punta Mita is service positioned.
Naviva Unscripted
Our first two nights at Naviva offered a surprising feeling of self-discovery, opening ourselves to the peninsula and natural world, the people who came before us and who lived here and worked the land. I quickly determined that Naviva is truly a wellness destination that indulges your inner-self and nourishes your soul, and where nature teaches you how to relax and take pleasure in the moment. Our luxury tent was surrounded by 48 acres of forest and lush semi-tropical plants, while the melodies of indigenous birds blending with the crashing waves bestowed a mystical energy to the setting, along with the shifting hues of light.
Four Seasons Punta MitaPunta Mita Pleasure
A guide led us over a bamboo bridge and forested gorge to our sumptuous tent lodging, and we were surprised with the al fresco living room, bedrooms that whisper comfort, bathrooms large enough to do a spin or two to a mariachi band, deep soaking tubs, a skylit shower connecting to the environment, a small inviting private plunge pool, and an outdoor area with a hammock, firepit, shower and bathrooms.
Wellness Abundance
“Wellness,” a word with ancient roots is a catchphrase in today’s world of fitness and wellbeing and embraces healthy living, an active lifestyle, nutrition, holistic and spiritual and mental well-being. However, wellness at Naviva moves the core of the concept skyward with all of the above, as well as cherished wellness spaces, two private spa pods hidden away in the forest. In step with the long-standing history of Punta Mita, and a Native American tradition, is the esteemed temazcal involving renewal and rebirth, and cleansing the body and soul. Temazcal translating from Nahuatl to “house of heat,” is in place at Naviva guided by a devoted curandero. a ceremonial fire pit, pre and post ceremonies, and a convenient outdoor shower area. I also found Yoga enthusiasts at Risco Terrace, along with an al fresco gym with views of the ocean.
Four Seasons Punta Mita and The Tail of the Whale
We moved over to the Four Seasons hotel via a golf cart and stopped to see the famed Tail of the Whale. I’ve never taken up the game of golf, but the spectacular Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, adjacent to the Bay of Banderas and the Pacific, offers golfers the challenging and famed “Tail of the Whale”, the only natural island ocean green, par-3 hole in the world, played only at low tide with a dress code suitable to the tradition of the game. It seems to me that in the diverse world of golf, the Tail of the Whale stands alone where golfers hope their ball lands on the island or if not, will float away in the Pacific.
Culinary Elation
We enjoyed lunch at the adults-only pool, spent some time exploring the property, followed by an 80 minute Punta Mita Tequila Stone massage, and dinner at Dos Catrinas with a large open air seaside dining patio. Executive Chef, Jorge Gonzalez, born in Guadalajara where he attended a culinary school, has worked in Puebla, the Four Seasons Mexico City, and winning awards at Punta Mita with the flair of the renowned Mexico cuisine. The table side guacamole is created with style, the server thankfully asking us the degree of heat or spiciness. Mild to medium was a savory culinary appreciation, as were the garlic shrimp, cauliflower tacos with a vegan tartar dressing. The corn tortillas, made in house, are so tasty they’re like a dessert. It was with admiration to experience Chef Gonzalez’s cooking. Our last full day was jammed with movement. A glorious Panoramic Hike with incredible peninsula views, followed by lunch at Dos Catrinas, then a Mezcal Tasting at the Hakari Cultural Centre, an afternoon snorkeling tour at Cuevas Beach, and finally dinner at Bahia with Chef Richard Sandoval at the helm.
When You Go
First, there is a down to earth vibe here with the fabled Mexico hospitality, and absolutely no pretension, yet with impeccable service, and a commitment to excellence which was evident in every aspect. The unparalleled luxury is a getaway filled with relaxation, adventure, wellness, and travel memories.
DREAM IN Color
John Colclough –Ireland Luxury
Richard Carroll Photography: Halina KubalskiJohn Colclough – Ireland Luxury
Richard Carroll Photography: Halina KubalskiIt all began in 1978 when John Colclough, an avid reader with a quick wit who is blessed with a rare photographic memory and enough intelligence to share with an army, began exploring the history, culture, and traditions of Ireland. Following his heart and with a profound affection for the island, Colclough explored the untrammeled backroads lined with ancient hand-designed stone fences that appear as if they were created by a master artist and designed for horse-drawn carriages. He negotiates postal lanes that carve their way past rolling grass fields with the most brilliant green on the planet, dotted with elm and lime trees, and glorious castles that appear like an astonishing vision in a landscape bordered by blankets of green and stands of leafy trees. Winding his way into villages, speaking with residents in Galic, listening to their tales and wondering what’s around the corner, he investigates haunted castles and researches the absolute best of Ireland, the preeminent accommodations, the finest chefs, creating personal connections to private estates and castles, and is able to open doors to remarkable possibilities, not available to visitors. With a great passion, Colclough affectionately appreciated the great country houses and castles of Ireland. He has traced the development of Irish architecture from medieval times to modern day, is a member of the Irish Georgian Society, a group that is helping to preserve and save the old Irish houses, castles and estates and along the way, having spent his adult years investigating Ireland’s distinguished travel destinations, launched Ireland & Britain Observed, the essence of luxury travel.
Colclough, (pronounced colclee), was born in Wexford, located in southeast Ireland. He attended school in London to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather who were both barristers. Tired of law, John switched to art, literature, architecture, history and the magic of storytelling. In the 1980’s, Colclough inherited a 1947 Bentley by chance from an uncle who couldn’t afford to run the car and while driving around the countryside, Colclough discovered a 1949 Rolls-Royce that was being used as a chicken coop in the backyard of a farmhouse where a tree or two had also found a home among the eggs. He purchased the Rolls, collected the eggs, chased out the hens, removed the trees, and meticulously restored the vehicle. He decided the best way to utilize the cars would be to take guests on tours in the Bentley and Rolls-Royce to some of the 150 or so private homes and castles that he was personally familiar with, including those that were haunted or had a presence.
Irish Haunted Houses by Vintage Bentley
Colclough was aware that only 20 miles from Dublin a visitor is deep in the Irish countryside where the land has remained unchanged for 500 years and the countryside has been cared for, factories and industry have not marred the land, and it is waiting to be shared with the world. He launched his luxury tours in the early 1980’s including a ghostly tour that was extremely popular. Touching the heart and refreshing the spirit, he led guests past large stones smoothed by the ceaseless rhythms of time to a renovated 12th century round tower, an ancient church with a sagging roof covered with moss and the Huntington Castle in Wexford with a moat, drawbridge, druid drinking well and a bevy of friendly spirits that bump around at night in rooms and hallways. The castle is built over a druid well that dates to A.D. 400, and ghosts or not, there are so many spirits flitting about that he found it impossible to keep guests here overnight.
The Ghostly Tour also included a night in a 1440 Norman stronghold where there is a 12,000-volume library with many first editions of the Elizabethan poets, and on the walls, curious portraits. Each evening there is a dinner party at a private estate and here, over a glass of port wine, are where lasting memories are formed.
The Bentley and Roll-Royce are gone, but John Colclough’s luxury tours are booming as his reputation has steadily grown, expanding to Britain and Scotland, and noted as the essence of the modern Irish Renaissance man. He was a visiting lecturer at The Smithsonian and has lectured numerous times in the United States at heritage organizations, and satisfying dreams and surpassing expectations, is hosting some of the most demanding clients in the world, including Prince Michael of Greece, international celebrities and film stars. Last year 27 of his clients arrived by private jet, and one of them brought along his own horse. “Springtime Elegance: Makeup Inspiration for Brides”
Michael MooreMy philosophy for bridal makeup is always keep it clean, simple, and classy.
Base and Foundation
A beautiful glowing look from the walk down the aisle to the first dance. I like the skin to look velvet. I do not go for the latest trends, but who doesn’t mind looking flawless or walking down the aisle? (Custom Foundation, ERA Foundation, Sheer Perfection Primer)
Eyebrows
I have found way too many people follow the trends in eyebrows lately. I prefer a brow to look more natural. That does not mean the brow can’t be enhanced or embellished. I often put my brides in brow boot camp before the big day. We shape, we grow, we tint, and we get them into the perfect natural brow look for your special day. (Revitabrow, Brow Food Clear Brow Gel)
Eyeshadows
The glowing bridal look transitions well to shadows on the eyes. Many of the brides do not wear anything on their eyes on a daily basis, so showing up at your wedding with a heavy smoky or something stark in shimmer could be a bit much. This is why we keep the lids settle in neutral. Champagnes, Bronze, and Muted Grays are some of the perfect colors for keeping the looks subtle and special on your day. (Hold on tight, Get a Grip, Cream Eyeshadow, Gilded shadow, Sable shadow, Pink Mocha shadow)
Blushing, Bride, of course
I always believe in a subtle but vibrant shade to set the tone for the blushing bride. Flushed and fresh on the apples give the healthiest of looks for a bride of any age. Cream blush, to start on the apples and back, layered with a bit of shimmer. Finish it all with a powder blush to keep it lasting all day long. (Barely Peach cream blush, Barely Pink cream blush, Quartz Dew Drops, Rose Gold Dew Drops)
Lip Color
Bridal lips? A natural lip with gloss is always a beautiful and achievable look making a lip color look as if the brides. Sheer lip stains are perfect to achieve this look. They make it look as if the bride has a ”bitten” feature. With a hydrated glow layered on top, a subtle shimmer is always the perfect addition. Colorado always makes it a bit more difficult but think about it and know it takes more than just a little lip balm on the day of your wedding to achieve a beautifully hydrated lip. (Berry lip stain, plum lip stain, lipsmart, lip balm, Zelda gloss, All That Glitters lip gloss)
Skincare Boot Camp
Making sure your skin is in the best condition is always a goal, especially on your wedding day. I always suggest working back 6 to 8 months from your wedding date. Reminder great skin takes time beautiful make up looks best on beautiful skin. Start with a skin care consultation with your licensed skin care, professional come to the appointment with your goals and desires. They should set you up on a detailed regime to complete the steps to get a for your special day.
Biggest Reminder
Don’t stress, smile a lot, and know everyone involved is there to support you and the person you have chosen to marry that day. It will be special!
