Cycas revoluta Local name: êÿÓé Plant grouping: Cycadaceae. Soil, Water and Sun: Fertile, Welldrained. Needs moderate amount of water and Full Sun. Plant type and Theme: Ever green plant and Its Theme is tropical. Plant description: It is a symmetrical planned tree that reaches about 30 m high maximum but it mostly suitable in high about 2.5 m , it is characterized by it`s very thick trunk , cycus grows well in a sunny spaces with partial shaded of moist or sandy soil. Leaves: It`s leaves are very stick of tall about 12 m maximum of very dark green color. Blooming time: Most of year time, but will usually flush (or grow) several new leaves by spring. Comments: Cycus is the luxury palm as it has a unique shape not very high but It do like a vase in the entrance of resort or a garden , socycus can be grouped with multi kinds of shrubs and ground cover that complete the vase with colorful shrubs , so it can be grouped with multi flora of petunia that have a huge dense in he flower quantity so it acts like a strip of petunia then bougainvillea as the lighten strip between two dark green leaves of two kinds of plants , that`s will give the elegance imprison.

Plant description: An evergreen massive and symmetrical palm with a smoothly sculpted trunk this palm looks almost artificial. Grayish smooth trunk usually thickened at the base and again in the middle becoming thinner and green towards the crown shaft long leaves have many linear green leaflets arranged in several ranks. Plant description: A fan-shaped palm, with a loose and open crown. The massive gray trunk is barrel shaped and ringed with old leaf scars. The individual leaflets are pendulous and swing freely in the wind. Abundant cotton-like threads on and between the leaflets persist even when the palm is mature. Size: H: 15-12 m. W:to 5 m. Plant type and Theme: Its Theme is tropical. Size: H: 3-2m W: up to 2m Blooming time: April to June. Plant description: An evergreen, giant palm like with stiff leaves which are pinnate and long ones with small leaflets. Comments: This palm gives an attractivelook, strikingeffect and a tropical effect to the whole scenario. Hyophorbe Lagenicaulis Local name: Bottle palm. Plant grouping: Arecaceae. Soil, Water and Sun: Bottle palm can adapt to many soil types as long as they are well drained. Feed with fertilizer three times a year if not grown in rich soil. Prefers broken shade yet it can take full sun. Size: H: 3.7-3.1 m W: Up to 2 m. Plant description: Bottle Palm has a large swollen (sometimes bizarrely so) trunk. It is a myth that the trunk is a means by which the palm stores water. Blooming time: Size: Up to 3.7 tall. Plant description: Chenille plant is dioecious, meaning that the staminate (male) and pistillate (female) flowers are on separate plants. The pistillate flowers are purple, bright red or crimson, and clustered in velvety catkins, (51-20 cm) long and an inch in diameter. They are dense and fluffy, like a cat's tail, and they appear intermittently throughout the whole year as long as conditions are favorable. The cultivar, 'Alba' has creamy-white catkins. Comments: The brightly colored pendulous tassels of chenille plant are extremely showy, and a specimen in full bloom is a spectacular sight. Uses: Chenille plant can be grown in a container on the patio or porch, and brought indoors during cold weather. It looks great in a large hanging basket with its fluffy crimson tassels hanging over the sides.
