El canciller guatemalteco, Mario Búcaro, se reunió con funcionarios de la Secretaría de Seguridad Multidimensional de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA), para dar seguimiento al Programa Integral

Fortalecidos

Búcaro señaló que se fortalecieron las instituciones que integran el Sistema Nacional de Seguridad en temas de ciberseguridad, incluidos entrenamientos técnicos a mujeres y el control de armas y municiones.

Asimismo, presentó los avances en el control del narcotráfico, entre otros. Por último, el canciller agradeció la cooperación de la OEA.

Guatemalan Foreign Minister Mario Búcaro met with officials from the Secretariat for Multidimensional Security of the Organization of American States (OAS) to follow up on the Comprehensive Program for Strengthening Multidimensional Security in Guatemala.

Búcaro pointed out that the institutions that make up the National Security System improved in cybersecurity issues, including technical training for women, border security, and the control of arms and ammunition.

He also presented the progress made in controlling drug trafficking and border security, among others. Finally, the Foreign Minister thanked the OAS for its cooperation.
