El Pasaje Enríquez, una joya arquitectónica
Una obra de arte Este edificio fue construido por el arquitecto Alberto Porta, pero posee decoraciones y dibu jos del artista Luis Liutti. Sus tonalidades amarillas y blancas lo convierten en un lugar ideal para pasar la tarde. Entre sus características destacan las figuras en grafiti, sus vitrales, sus puer tas y verjas, que son las más altas de los edificios ubicados en Quetzaltenango, que fueron fabricadas de hierro y en las cuales puede leerse la mención del año 1900. Además, se puede observar un patio techa do que posee estructura metálica y placas de cristal.
Quetzaltenango es considerada la segun da ciudad más importante de Guatemala, y es uno de los destinos más frecuentados por los turistas, gracias a su clima, su ar quitectura y sus tradiciones.
El Centro Histórico de la Ciudad Altense abunda en anécdotas e historias por ser contadas. Algunas de ellas sobre el Pasaje Enriquez, el cual fue construido en el siglo antepasado. Su historia co mienza en 1840, cuando en el sitio se ubicaba la sede de la Comandancia de Ar mas, pero luego el terreno sería comprado por la familia Enríquez, y se iniciaría la cons trucción del pasaje en 1898 y fi nalizaría en 1902. La familia optó por un diseño grecorromano, y desde entonces este edificio se ha convertido en una joya arquitectónica.

Al respecto, el artista ex presó: “Un lugar maravilloso lleno de arte de los grandes maestros modernos. Expo ner en París, en la UNESCO, es un logro que agradezco a Dios, familia y coleccionistas en Guatemala”; de esta forma la obra tiene más valor y la inver sión aumenta de valor cultural. Ardón cumplió 11 años de tra yectoria en los cuales ha pre sentado colecciones colectivas e individuales en diferentes Élinstituciones.seconsidera dibujante y real za al público al momento de apreciar sus obras: “El artista debe dejar que el espectador termine de armar la historia o cree su propio argumento”.
