TRUESTRIPES INFINITE STRIPES COLLECTION
// BLOCK PRINTED TEXTILES FROM DYM’S WORKSHOP IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
ALTERNATOR // INFINITE STRIPES collection
ALTERNATOR switches between varying sections of a two-color gallop (vertical) and a set of one-color horizontal stripes. We play with the rhythms of each part, to give the overall pattern ease, inviting freedom into repetition. As shown, we like to pair ALTERNATOR with patterns from our In Writing collection, especially STAND WITH / WITH STAND. We print each section to the desired length. Suitable for drapery, upholstery, accessories (pillows, table runners). This pattern works well on naturally dark hemp canvas and on hemp-silk satin.

INFINITE STRIPES. Our stripes grow from modular units—our blocks. With them, we can create myriad variations, small and large, on the patterns we print in our Northern California shop.

ABOUT OUR CLOTH.
We print on all natural fiber fabrics, most typically on
58-60” wide hemp linen, flax linen, and silk. We may be able to work with your substrate; testing is part of our service. Our colors are lightfast and the fabrics are fully washable. We recommend cold water and line drying. As with all textiles, ours will last longest if kept out of direct sun exposure and washed infrequently. Should your pieces fade from sun or repeated washing, we are happy to re-print any of our patterns if not upholstered—a service block-printing makes possible.
