F 650/F 650 Dakar The F 650 GS and F 650 GS Dakar are the lightest and easiest-to-ride bikes in the BMW Enduro family. Their power is substantial but not alarming, and their manners are nimble and manageable. Ride them around town or across the country, on pavement or dirt, for business or pleasure. Their low seats and narrow cockpits make traffic a breeze, and their long-travel suspensions make rough terrain a mere formality.

The BMW GS: 25 Years of Adventure The adventure touring/big-bore enduro platform, a BMW invention, was launched in 1980 with the iconic R 80 G/S. The concept is simple yet breathtaking: motorcycles built with the power and comfort needed for long distance travel and the rugged design and long travel suspension to do it off-road. The concept, born a quarter century ago, is alive in the name G/S, from Gelande (terrain)/Strasse (street). The GS was immediately embraced by world-travelers and knee draggers alike, and is fast becoming BMW’s most successful model. Ride the GS and see why. Ride the web at www.bmwmotorcycles.com. The HP stands for High Performance—and that’s what you get. The HP2 has the most horsepower of any Enduro out there, and when you pair that with feather-like weight, you get a pony-to-pound ratio that flat-out rips. Swoop through forests and scream across deserts—and with the optional sport road wheel kit (available mid-May) you can flick through canyons with surgical precision. Do it all on the HP2.
