LIGHT PAVILION
THE PLACE The Light Pavilion is located in the Maths Lawns space in front of the Barr Smith Library's East elevation, surrounded by the Braggs Lecture tTheatre and the Mathmatics and Engineering Building.From google map, the lawn size is 20*60 m2. The Light Pavilion will be in the theme of lotus pool, with a floor size of 350 m2.
BARR SMITH LIBRARY The Barr Smith Library is the main library of the University of Adelaide, has special collections include the Music Collection, East Asian Collection, Yaitya Ngutupira and Recreational Reading. Its claccsic Renaissance form is constructed of red brick with stone dressings. In the morning, the sun rises from the North-East corner of Barr Smith Library, lighting up a triangle part of Maths Lawn up. After that, in the most time of a day, Maths Lawn entertains a very bright sunshine, as the first picture discloses. Due to the Mediterranean climtae of Adelaide, people passing by Barr Smith Library easy to be thirsty and tired.
LUMINOSITY
Luminosity is the presence of light, and light closes the gap between architecture and our perception. With the reflectance of light, structure does not stand isolated. With thousands of light pixel in the ceiling, dream-like starry sky can be built. Light can also be used to deconstruct conventional building structures, and heighten visual effects. These function of light has been applied in Zaha Hadid's work like Leeza SOHO skycraper and Guangzhou Opera House.

IDEA Light stands for creation, truth and knowledge. Water stands for birth, tender and pass of time. People see the light, through the water-like things. Based on this idea, I want to set a lotus pool in front of Barr Smith Library. The reflection of light by the water plays a vital role here. Key words here contain curved shapes, fluid designs, naturalism design.

REFLECTION
The brilliant reflections on transparent glass facades offers shiny distorted reflections of the sky., as a magical eyecatcher. The brilliant reflections on transparent glass can also offer interesting views for those inside.
FORM Under the theme of "lotus pool", three fish-like rooms been put around the leaf-like roofs. Each of the room can be divided into a seminar room and a washroom. There are water under the glass floor, in order to give natural light-reflection. to the conical pillar of those roofs. The
Detailed Distribution
MATERIAL The most important material we apply here is mirror and lights. We put them on the ceiling, in order to get water reflection in the daytime and glittering shines in the night. Red-colored wood are been set on the seminar rooms' roof, for a ship-deck felling. As there are air lane between the roofs, we encourage people jump on the roof, and walk around. The wall of seminar room, but also reception's, are glass wall. Glass wall offers a great transparency.
FILTERATION
Under proper filtration, light can be linked with divinity and holiness, serving as a tool of religious persuasion. Light east away and weakens institutional discipline. Under proper composition , light can deliver rhythm like music. Light techniques can be a multifaceted language to consecrate the scared buildings. Elements range from tiny stellar openings to large tubes can generate remarkable light patterns reflect cosmic power.
