02 design the project These 2 trees have been chosen for the treehouse. The treehouse is going to be designed at approximately 40 square meter size, for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. It will contain living and sleeping spaces, kitchen bench with sink, induction stove, and cupboards, under-bench fridge, composting toilet, water tank, storage space, wood heater, and small terrace/balcony. As there are 2 chosen trees, it would be good to have at least one tree going through the inside of the treehouse.

03 frame Building a strong and safe structure for the treehouse is a very important step. Therefore, for a strong and safe structural system, this treehouse contains exterior supporting structures on and off the tree, as well as framing structures within the treehouse’s floor, wall and roof. The exterior supporting structures are placed in many different ways such as, some being underneath the floor intersecting each other, some attached to the trees underneath the treehouse parallel, and some place on the wall to the ground. Framing system within the treehouse is just like the normal house structures.
