Homework

Student handbook/Student zone

Teachers will set homework for most classes. You should do this homework if you want to improve your English!

ID cards Every A2Z student receives a free ID card. You should receive your card on your first day – if not then ask a receptionist. Please keep this card with you at all times so you can prove you are a student and not a stranger.

Books If you are studying for more than 2 weeks you must buy the books for the course you study. You cannot study a course and not buy a book. If you are studying for less than 2 weeks you might be able to borrow a book from reception, but this is not possible for all courses, and you will have to pay a returnable deposit and give the book back afterwards without any damage.

If you lose the card you will be charged £5 for a replacement.

Library The Wimbledon library is a great place to study (it is quiet and has free internet) and you can also borrow books for free! It is free to join, you might need a letter from the reception – ask if you need it. http://goo.gl/m6eX0g

Drugs • Drugs include: Marijuana, Cocaine, Ecstacy, Heroin, Amphetimines, Magic mushrooms etc. • These drugs are illegal and you must not take them. • You will be immediately expelled from school if you are suspected of or found to have taken drugs.
