HOW TO USE THE DIRECTORY
Welcome to the Allied Arts Council 2020/2021 Arts Directory!
You may notice that the Arts Directory has gone to print quite late. Traditionally the Arts Directory is collated in April/May. COVID-19 lockdowns made that task difficult for both the AAC team and AAC members. The on-going health restrictions have impacted both arts organizations and artists in our community. Many groups in Lethbridge have had to cancel performances, concerts, exhibitions and workshops. Please support arts organizations and artists in Lethbridge by visiting their websites and social media pages. Purchase memberships or buy advanced tickets where possible. Subscribe to their newsletters. Engage with them virtually until they once again can share their art with you in person.
There are two ways to search the directory Index
If you are looking for artists or organizations in a specific category, see pages 2-6 for an index of disciplines and their corresponding artists and organizations.
Alphabetically PUBLIC ART MAP Take a self-guided tour of Lethbridge public art! Pages 19 - 24
If you are looking for a specific name, the directory is organized alphabetically; just flip through until you find the correct letter. Artists are listed by their last names first. You will also notice symbols next to each artist/organization. These indicate which discipline(s) applies to that artist/organization. A legend is available at the bottom of each page.
ABOUT THE ALLIED ARTS COUNCIL (AAC) The Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge provides leadership in advancing and enhancing the arts in Lethbridge. We work to promote the arts to the larger community, improve arts facilities in Lethbridge, provide collaborative opportunities for artists and advocate for the arts. To learn more about us, our members and arts events visit www.artslethbridge.org Or stop by our office in downtown Lethbridge: 318 7 Street South T1J 2G2 Ph: 403.320.0555 E: info@artslethbridge.org
