Vision Statement • An accessible, collaborative organization that fosters innovation, education and advocacy for residents and students in emergency medicine.
Mission Statement • We provide resources and opportunities that educate, inspire, and inform emergency medicine trainees. AAEM/RSA also supports and educates residents on the core tenets of AAEM, including the necessity of fair practice environments and the importance of unencumbered patient access to quality emergency care provided by a board certified emergency medicine physician.

RSA Congressional Elective The AAEM/RSA Elective is a one month elective for AAEM and AAEM/RSA members interested in medical policy and advocacy. The elective will provide a solid understanding of legislative and policy process, which will serve to equip the elective candidate with legislative and policy work and help to empower the emergency medicine profession.
