AAAEurope is an indipendant blank apparel distributor specialising in the wholesale of the US brand Alstyle. Alstyle Active Apparel is the leading manufacturer and seller of Urban/Street designed blank apparel worn and used by thousands of people and brands around the world. Alstyle, all so known as AAA was founded in 1974 and have been the leading brand of blank t-shirts and hoodies thoughout the skate and extreme sports industry since its inception. In 2010 AAA decided to completely remove themselves from the Europan market place due to the rapid increase in shipping, import fees and taxes. Still till this day AAA have yet to return to the European market.
With the steady growth of indipendant clothing brands and the increase of street and skate cultures popularity the demand to get AAA products back in the UK has never been so high. AAAEurope aim to fufil the demand for these product by wholesaling and distributing the product. Starting off with a small number of select product and increasing to a point where AAAEurope are carrying most of Alstyles popular products. Over the next 12-24 months AAAEurope will aim to be one of the UK’s leading blank t-shirt suppliers and the leader of Street/Skate specific blank product. By selective and strategic marketing plan AAAEurope will raise the profile of the Alstyle blank and let the whole streetwear and skatewear community know that AAAEurope is the only place in Europe to by these select products. We will also target all stores, brands and screen printers within the skate and streetwear community know that we are the sole AAA distributors. Within the next 12-24 months we will aim to sell over 30,000 items and through our online site and a further 30,000 units through 3rd party large scale distributors.
MARKETING AAAEurope will have a strict marketing and promotional plan in place to help raise the profile of the AAA brand and the AAAEurope company. AAAEruope will do this by doing following. 1. Create a list of people and businesses to approach Using search engines like google and social media networks like facebook and instagram AAAEurope will compile a long list os potential people and businesses to contact and notify about the new European based company distributing AAA products. This will entail searching our brands that match the AAA brand identity including skatebrands, streetwear brands, casual fashion brands, sportwear brands and band merch who might consider using AAA products now they are available in the UK and Europe. 2. attack forums and reply to people talking about it Searching the internet for forum posts, blog posts and tweets form people enquiring about AAA products in Europe. Contacting them and notifying them of the new company specialising in the distribution of AAA products in Europe. 3. contact brands through their website Using Dark Circle’s database of brand contacts to directly contact brand owners and production managers to notify them of AAAEuropes products and business plans. 4. set up twitter, instagram, Facebook, ebay Using social media platforms to increase AAAEurope’s brand profile and connect with potential customers to increase product awareness. 5. contact skate/streetwear stores and skate distributors Using the internet to find and locate the UK’s leading skate stores and suppliers to let them know that the industries favourite blank apparel brand is back in the UK and available for purchase. 6. contact US brand distributors Contact leading distributors and sales reps for leading US brands that already use AAA product to let them know that they can now product product in the UK for short run orders and collaboritive projects. 7. CONTACT ALL SCREEN PRINTERS Screen printers could make up for over 85% of the product sales. Contacting all screen printers who look like they have a history of working with skate/street wear brands. Let them know the AAA product is now back available in the UK and Europe and to notify the brands they work with. Letting all Screen printers across the UK and Europe know that they can get this legendary product directly and only from AAAEurope. 8. TRADESHOWS & EVENTS Finding out which trade show and sales events are happening across the UK and Europe and taking the AAA product to showcase and notify people about the return of AAA products to the UK and Europe and showcasing its quality and why it has such a great reputation across the industry.
PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL Creating a strong assortment of promotional material that can be distributed across the UK and Europe to potential customers. Using the promotional material to showcasing the legendary AAA product and letting them know that it is now available again in the UK and Europe and only from AAAEurope AAAEurope will produce a number of different promotion items to be used to raise the company profile and drive sales. All these items can be put together to make a quality mailout pack to send out to all the potential big list customers. Having to high quantites could cost too much and take to long to recover and recoup for re-order popular styles and sizes. SUGGESTED INVENTORY PURCHASE For the first order AAAEurope will make 1 medium sized purchase of around 3700 t-shirts. The first 700 units will be shipped via Air Freight and delivered within 3 working days of purchase. These items will be used for promotional use, product placement, photography and website start up. Any remaning product will be purchased by Dark Circle Clothing. The remaining 3000 units will be shipped to the UK using Sea Freight shipping to save on costs. This will take around 8-10 weeks to deliver but will save large amounts in shipping and import fees. By the time these units arrive in the UK, the promotional material, website and marketing plan should all be in place ready to start business. All in all, the AAAEurope business should take around 12 - 16 weeks to be fully opporational and ready to make money. With a stock purchase of this size AAAEurope so anticipate their first re-stock withing 4-6 weeks of the website going live and the promotional/marketing campaign begining.
