Aaron Michalicek

I am a Project Designer at DLR Group, specializing in Sports Architecture. I graduated from The University of Kansas in the class of 2022, and have lived in the Sports Architecture capital of the world, Kansas City, since then. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the chance to work in a variety of fields, ranging from high-end single family homes, to civic and sports projects of various sizes. As a designer, I’ve found that my passion lies is in cultivating experiences within our creations that have the power to shape memories, impact culture, and bring people together. I love good design just as much as the next architect, and enjoy advocating for it within our firm and communities. And of course, I am here to build relationships and foster connections with clients and other design professionals that will hopefully last throughout my career and beyond.
