Founded in Autumn of 2012, Aashni + Co pioneers the most desirable edit in Indian high fashion. A beautiful concept store set in the heart of London’s Notting Hill with ecommerce site aashniandco.com, Aashni + Co has been established with the purpose of providing access to visionary designers of India for the residents of United Kingdom. Designers include Anamika Khanna, Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, Rahul Mishra, Anju Modi, Varun Bahl and like. Aashni + Co is set over two floors with haute couture, ready-to-wear collections, jewellery and accessories.
ABOUT AASHNI +CO WEDDING SHOW
In 2016, Aashni + Co Wedding Show presented on one platform high end, bridal and occasion wear by India’s most celebrated designer brands – from established, A-list fashion houses to the crème of new gen talent, namely: Anamika Khanna, Anju Modi, Anita Dongre, Anushree Reddy, Manish Malhotra, Nikasha, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, Sabyasachi, Varun Bahl and like. The participating designers presented their collections exclusively in the UK at Aashni + Co Wedding Show, rendering it further unique. In excess of 1200 paid visitors were wowed by the event taking place in The Dorchester’s sumptuous Ballroom Suite and the opportunity of meeting and interacting with some of the leading Indian designers themselves. While more than 20 Wedding shows featuring Asian designs take place in the United Kingdom, Aashni+Co aims for a high-fashion offering with a focus on the luxury market. The difference is in the edit, which is what Aashni+Co prides itself on. With every designer - whether they create clothing, fine jewellery, or events being handpicked, you can be sure that attendees will only view designs from the top end of the Indian design spectrum.
ABOUT VENUE THR DORCHESTER, BALLROOM SUITE, LONDON
The Ballroom Suite at The Dorchester - which includes the Park Lane entrance, Crush Hall, Silver Room, Gold Room and Ballroom reopened in September 2011 following a restoration to recapture the opulence of Oliver Ford’s original 1930s design. Always the location of numerous sparkling events, the newly restored rooms are already in strong demand.
