Summer Newsletter 2022 Hello and welcome to another edition of our Abacus Creative Resources Newsletter. This edition marks the beginning of the most exciting and busiest time of year as it is creative kits season. Our kits are the hassle-free way to equip your class. Each kit contains quality creative materials as standard. You can choose from our existing course kits or customise them to suit your needs. This year we are running a great initiative with Forest Carbon where our kits will contribute to the planting of new trees throughout the UK. For more information about our Creative Kits why not head over to our very own YouTube Channel or give one of our friendly team a call. We have had a really busy few months and lots to shout about but I have always got time to say thank you to all of our customers for your support and as always we are here to help! Creative Regards Roy

Corporate Social Responsibility Spotlight In this edition of the newsletter we have lots to shout about: Firstly, we are proud to have partnered with Forest Carbon in our latest initiative, ‘Your Creative Kits, Creating New Woodland.’ With your help, our aim is to offset over 30,000kg of carbon and plant over 100 new trees. Between May and October we have set ourselves a target to deliver 10,000 creative kits to students throughout the UK. For every 1000 kits created we will donate to projects in both the UK and internationally, to help offset our current carbon emissions and plant new trees to aid in future carbon capture. As well as our kits initiative, we are proud to contribute to Forest Carbon monthly. So far this year Abacus Creative Resources have mitigated 7288kg of carbon!

Summer Newsletter 2022 We are also pleased to reveal our chosen charity for 2022/2023: Lancashire Mind. Mind are more than a mental health charity, they are a passionate movement leading the mental wellbeing revolution in Lancashire. They work in schools and businesses throughout Lancashire to shape a generation who won’t treat people differently based on their mental health. During ‘Mental Health Awareness Week’ 2022 the team at Abacus Creative Resources pledged to walk 100 miles to help raise vital funds and awareness for Lancashire Mind’s Breaking Boundaries Campaign. The team put on their trainers and got out and about at lunchtime and after work to smash the 100 mile target! And if all that walking wasn’t enough, Hannah and Sian from Abacus HQ completed the Manchester 10k on the 22nd May for the charity raising over £500! You can keep up to date with the latest from the team over on Instagram: @abacuscreativeresources
