Ben de Lisi is one of the worlds most prolific fashion designers. He designed the knock-out red Oscar dress that marked Kate Winslet’s transformation into a Hollywood glamour queen, as well as designing clothes for stars including; Liz Hurley, Rachel Weisz and Jemima Khan to name but a few. It was back in 2001 when Ben de Lisi turned his creative skills to interior design. “A good designer can turn his hand to anything.” The all new 2013 collection has everything that you need to create a stylish bathroom, including sanitary ware, shower screens, towel rails, furniture and baths. Add that essence of the catwalk to your bathroom and go and create your own sanctuary.

Standard Non-Adjustable Element With a standard heating element the wattage of the element is matched according to the size of the radiator. It will then heat the liquid inside the radiator and the heat is dispersed by the surface area of the radiator. It has the protection of a thermal ‘cut out’ should the element become too hot, however there is no control over the radiator or the room temperature. Note: IP55 rated. Note: All electric elements & electric only towel warmers are subject to a 12 month guarantee period.

Delivery Most items within this brochure are held in stock here in the UK. These items are normally despatched on a next day delivery. Heavy glass products are delivered on a specialist 2 man courier. The Sales Office will make contact to arrange a suitable delivery date. Special order or non-stock items are made to order and can take anything from 2 to 6 weeks dependent on the complexity of the product. As our range of cabinets are hand crafted using natural timbers and veneers, all of these products are produced to order. The delivery time on all cabinets is approximately 21 working days. The metal installation frames however are available from stock on our normal delivery service. This means that your bathroom can be first fixed and tiled, thus not delaying the speed of the installation. Lead time on Spa Baths is 4 weeks.

Guarantee Ben de Lisi products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for the first purchaser. The products will be replaced or refunded at the manufacturers discretion. No other loss is guaranteed. The guarantee is nontransferable and proof of purchase will be required. Please note: WC seat hinges and bath/shower seals are subject to general wear and tear and therefore not covered under guarantee. Aftercare Brassware: Periodical maintenance of Ben de Lisi products will contribute to keep them beautiful and efficient for a long time. We suggest drying taps with a soft cloth to avoid formation of limescale marks. Cleaning should be done with a liquid soap and water. Do not use detergents containing abrasive or acids, abrasive sponges, vinegar, ammonia, acetone, bleach, domestic acids or any kind of disinfectants. Glass: Remove any water remaining on the glass and framework using a squeegee. Clean the glass panels weekly using an appropriate cleaning product. Please note they must NOT be highly alkaline or contain any abrasive in the formulation. Abrasive pads must NOT be used. For heavy limescale we recommend Ritec’s highly effective Limescale Remover available to purchase online at www.clearshield.biz Sanitary Ware: Sanitary ware should be cleaned with a domestic cleaner or with soap suds using a soft non abrasive cloth. Afterwards rinse with clean water and polish with a soft non abrasive cloth. Furniture Care: The woods and veneers used in the production of the furniture have been selected for their natural beauty and characteristic appearance. Wood is a unique product and as such no two sections are identical in grain and pattern. In order to maintain and care for your furniture for years to come, just follow these simple guidelines: The surface of the furniture can be retained by ensuring all spills are wiped up immediately with a soft absorbent cloth. Furniture will endure most temperatures in the modern home, however all wooden furniture should be positioned as far away from radiators or other direct heat sources as possible. Timber is a natural product and mellows in colour with time. This process will be accelerated by direct sunlight. Products with special finishes will also mellow along with the base colour of the timber softening the overall effect. New furniture may, therefore, initially vary in shade from items that have been previously purchased or displayed. Cleaning - A light dust with a soft cloth in the direction of the grain is really all that is needed to maintain the rich shine of wood. Spray polishes are not recommended. If your furniture has metal handles fitted, metal polish should never be used as the handles have their own protective lacquer to prevent tarnishing. Mirrors - A normal glass and mirror polish may be used on these surfaces sparingly. Abrasive cloths or cleaning materials should not be used on any surface of the furniture. Towel Warmers & Radiators: It is important that towel warmers are periodically cleaned externally to maintain the finish of the stainless steel. Please follow the aftercare instructions provided with your tower warmer.

You will be requested to complete an Abacus Direct Stage 1 Returns Form (which is also available from our Sales Office) giving us your details, details of the product & reason for return. Once we have received this information we will then raise a case and issue you with a unique case reference number. Any products that are no longer required must be returned within 3 months of the original purchase date. All returned products must be in their original packaging and be fit for resale as damaged products cannot be credited. A 20% restocking charge + uplift fee will apply. Uplift charges will depend on the type of product and number of items being returned. If the boxes are not fit for resale then Re-boxing charges may also apply. All charges will be agreed by the returns department prior to uplift. Special Stock items are considered a specialist order and therefore will not be accepted for return under any circumstance. All Ben de Lisi Glass products are considered Specialist Stock items. All special stock items will be confirmed in the Sales Order Acknowledgement upon initial ordering with our Sales Office. Items fitted and/or damaged by the customer cannot be returned. Should you experience a fault with one of our products our Returns Department will investigate the matter fully.
