Care and maintenance
Product Guarantee*
Prices
Our products are manufactured to exacting standards and following the care and cleaning guidelines below will ensure that your bathroom will give you years of effective use.
The guarantee covers products which have been installed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, and when used in a bathroom, the room is deemed to have suitable ventilation in accordance with UK building regulations.
The prices displayed throughout this catalogue supersede all other previous publicised price lists. All prices include VAT and are subject to change without prior notice.
Returns
Goods may be returned for credit only following written approval by The Company. Special-order or bespoke items are non-returnable. Order cancellation will be subject to a 25% re-stocking charge. The Company reserve the right to refuse credit on goods returned damaged or in a condition unfit for resale. Also there may be an applicable charge for the reboxing of a returned product.
Taps & Brassware Taps and brassware products should be cleaned with a diluted mild detergent such as washing up liquid applied with a soft sponge or cloth, and then buffed dry with a microfibre cloth. Avoid using acids, rough sponges or steel wool and do not leave detergent on the products for long periods of time. Towel Warmers Both mild steel and stainless steel towel warmers should be cleaned only when cold with a moist soft or microfibre cloth. Any surface oxidation on the products should be removed using a metal polishing cream such as ‘PEEK’. We also recommend that towel warmers are polished with a PEEK type product on an annual basis to give long-lasting surface protection. Glass Our glass wetroom screens are protected by an easyclean nano-technology coating to make cleaning easier. We recommend that glass screens are cleaned with a diluted detergent and dried with a microfibre cloth. We recommend regular wiping of glass screens in order to remove excess water, which in some areas can be quite aggressive. GENERAL NEVER use products containing bleach on bathroom products or any cleaners or cloths of an abrasive nature.
The guarantee is available to the original purchasers who have proof of purchase and is non transferable. The Company operate a policy of continuous product development. In the event that a faulty product has been superseded, the Company will replace the product with the nearest equivalent item. The Company reserve the right to change designs and specifications without prior notice. In the event of a product fault after installation the Company must be given the opportunity to inspect the item in whatever state it deems appropriate. The guarantee does not cover consequential loss (your statuary rights will not be affected) The guarantee does not cover products which have been modified in any way. The guarantee covers products in normal use. Faults or damage caused by neglect, misuse, willful or accidental damage, inappropriate cleaning and incorrect installation are not covered under the guarantee. Unless stated otherwise, all guarantees are against manufacturing defects only. Guarantee exceptions are stated below: Sanitary ware Ceramics are guaranteed for 15 years against manufacturing defect. Cistern innards and toilet seat hinges are guaranteed for 12 months. Shower and Bath screens Plastic Seals are guaranteed for 12 months. Brassware All Brassware is guaranteed for 15 years against manufacturing defect with the exception of cartridges, hoses and O rings which are guaranteed for 5 years. Note: guarantee on cartridges does not cover damage caused by excessive hard water. Towel Warmers Electric heating elements are covered for 12 months. Furniture Furniture is guaranteed for 10 years, however the guarantee excludes damage caused by water of excessive moisture.

Returns Policy The Company do provide the option to return goods under the terms listed below. Please note we can only deal with any return request from the original customer. This Returns Policy must be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions. The Company reserves the right to vary this Returns Policy from time to time. Items not eligible for return: All bespoke items All glass products Electric only towel warmers How to initiate a return request: Via our Dealer Portal Via email salessupport@abacusmg.co.uk Return of unwanted goods The Company does not operate a sale or return policy. Please note Goods which are no longer required and that have been held by the Customer for more than three months from the date of invoice cannot be considered for return and/or credit. Goods can only be returned by prior arrangement. The Company will require photos of the goods to ensure that they are in a suitable condition for transit and resale. It is the Customers responsibility to ensure that the goods are ready for collection upon the agreed collection date in order to avoid any additional re-collection charges. All returned Goods must be in their original packaging and be fit for resale as damaged goods cannot be credited. A minimum 25% restocking charge will apply. Uplift charges may vary depending on the type of product and number of items being returned (i.e. large and heavy items), however the standard uplift charge for consignment items is GBP14.95.
Reporting of faulty goods Before/during installation Any goods that are faulty either prior to or during installation must be reported immediately in order for us to handle your request efficiently. An image will be requested and if the Company are satisfied that the Goods are faulty, we will either arrange uplift of the product for collection and inspection, credit and/or supply free of charge replacement product. After installation Any Goods that are reported as faulty after installation should not be removed. Please contact the Returns Department immediately. All faults reported after installation must be authorised by the Company before any work is undertaken. The Returns Department will contact the end user directly in order to obtain full details and any further required information. In the event that the fault is not covered under the warranty the Returns Department will provide a full report outlining the findings. For any approved faulty goods, please note that the Company will provide replacement goods / credit for the faulty items, however do not cover any consequential loss/charges incurred. Reporting of damaged goods In the event that your goods arrive damaged, please notify the Returns Department via salessupport@abacusmg.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery. Photos will be required in order to arrange uplift and re-supply of your goods. Reporting of missing goods In the event that goods have been signed for and part of your order is missing, please notify the Returns Department via salessupport@ abacusmg.co.uk within 24 hours of the delivery. We are unable to process claims submitted outside of these timescales.
Goods received back in anything other than re-saleable condition may result in the request for credit being refused or re-boxing charges may apply. The Customer acknowledges that whilst the Company is willing to arrange return transport via an appropriate carrier, the issue of potential damage or loss on the return journey is at the Customers risk. If the returned Goods are due to an the Company picking or inputting error, the Goods will be collected and/or replaced with no uplift charge and no re-stocking charge.
