Abbacino presenta Southern lights, su nueva Colección SS14. Creaciones inspiradas en la dorada luz de Mallorca. Una luz poderosa, fuente da vida, capaz de moldear nuestro carácter y bañar en oro su mar y sus campos. Southem lights es, también, un homenaje a la tradición pictórica que, desde Sorolla a Picasso o Barceló, ha hecho de nuestra luz mediterránea una seña de identidad en el mundo del arte.
Abbacino presents Southern Lights, its new SS14 Collection. Creations inspired by the golden light of Mallorca. A powerful source of life, able to shape our character, and bathe in gold its sea and fields. Southern Lights, is also a tribute to the Spanish pictorial tradition, from Sorolla to Picasso or Barceló, which has made of our Mediterranean light a hallmark in the art world.
El uso del color cobra especial relevancia en esta colección que refleja la riqueza cromática de la isla. Tonos que van de los azules más profundos a los más vivos, pasando por los verdes y lilas. El amarillo, color del astro rey y el blanco, símbolo de la luz, tienen un lugar destacado. También los naturales, como el arena, el nude y el cuero se combinan aportando un toque de elegancia.
The use of color is particularly relevant in this collection and reflects the island´s chromatic richness. Color shades ranging from deep blue to the more vivid, the greens and lilac. Yellow, color of the Sun and white, symbol of light, have a prominent place. Also the naturals, such as sand, nude and leather tones provide a touch of elegance. Moreover, the materials chosen, smooth or punched emphasize the idea of creating a particularly luminous collection. Metallic, color accents and iridescent surfaces provide a very special touch. Leather, wicker, linen and other technological materials are dyed in a surprising way... The already famous Abbacino hand-made braiding will catch attention. The two-tone combinations and the tie dye technique are also very present in the collection. All of them, pictorial-style applications which make the bags authentic design canvases.
Por su parte, los materiales elegidos, lisos o troquelados, enfatizan la idea de crear una colección especialmente luminosa. Los metalizados, los acentos de color y las superficies iridiscentes aportan un toque muy especial. La piel, el mimbre, el lino y otros materiales tecnológicos se tiñen de manera sorprendente… También los ya célebres trenzados made in Abbacino. El juego de degradés, las combinaciones bitono y la técnica del tie dye están muy presentes. Aplicaciones de estilo pictoricista que convierten los bolsos en auténticos lienzos de diseño.
Faithful to its values of trendy design, quality and sophistication, Abbacino accessories show an original blend of materials and finishes, with formats ranging from the lady bag retro style, to others more modern and urban style. Cocktail bags have special relevance, with very original proposals for summer evenings.
Fiel a sus valores de diseño trendy, calidad y sofisticación los complementos Abbacino presentan originales mezclas de materiales y acabados, con formatos que van de los lady bag, de aire retro, a otros de corte más urbano y actual. Especial relevancia cobran los bolsos de cocktail, con propuestas muy originales para las noches de verano.
The collection is completed with new lines of belts, accessories and small leather goods.
