Creative Networks are a series of speaker events hosted at Leeds College of Art aiming to provide a platform for numerous inspirational and notable speakers in fields related to the design and arts industries. With a focus on creating a relaxed, and professional manner across the college and lecture theatre to create suitable surroundings for the speaker and event in hand, each event being unique in itself.
Produce the branding + identity and spatial design for the second Creative Networks event hosting Jamal Edwards, the founder of SBTV.
Look into the visual aesthetic and content associated with SBTV, and what is the most suitable direction take in this small timeframe.
Promotional teaser material across varying scales to hype and promote the event around college and Leeds.
Produce suitable and relevant material to transform the canteen space into an environment and experience
SBTV is a purely digital platform, how can you create a ‘digital’ aesthetic style and experience, referencing the use of youtube and video in the canteen and college space.
The second event is Jamal Edwards, one of the brightest young entrepreneurs out at the moment, being the founder and brains behind the revolutionary media and music platform – SBTV.
Research into well-known videos and interviews by SBTV and Jamal Edwards respectively – in the aim of finding strong quotes and music bars.
Suitable and relevant material to transform the canteen space into an environment and experience, such as posters, murals, projections, idents etc. Print + identity material, such as guestbooks, tickets, signage etc. Photographic documentation of process and deliverables in context of event.
