Modernism / Concept To extend the theories put forward in my essay visually Japan x Europe Europe x Japan
The main concept of the publication is to visually reinforce the theories and discussion of my essay
I will pick and choose 3-5 examples of European modernism and Japanese modernism and recreate in each others style
Japanese and European modernist Graphic Design are similar yet so different and want to visually inform this through interactivity. Rather than talk about visual characteristics, I will also show them.
How different would classic pieces of design have been in each others hands?

Each book or split personality of the publication will be a Japanese take on European design and an European take on Japanese design I have looked into binding methods, layout opportunities and possibilities of creating a package from two booklets in a creative and interactive manner.
The publications/split layouts will have strikingly different layouts and colour palettes to emphasise the different design backgrounds (Japan/Europe)
