WELCOME

This season we present a fantastic mix of drama, as we play host to the Quarter Finals of the All England Theatre Festival – this promises to showcase the very best of regional drama and is not to be missed. At the start of this year, PR Productions practically sold out for their most successful panto EVER with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This season you can catch this talented group of performers as they present the ever popular Stars In Their Eyes for the very last time! We also have NAODS presenting Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s hit musical EVITA. Tracing the true-life story of Eva Peron, this is one of the biggest musicals of all time. With such iconic hits as Don’t Cry for Me Argentina and Oh What A Circus. In May Masqueraders present the Mel Brooks classic musical comedy The Producers. Add to that a special charity performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance and Bad Girls the Musical - we have a fantastic choice of musicals here at the Abbey. We also have singing legend Maddy Prior and - one for the ladies - Forbidden Nights, as well as comedy legend Jimmy Cricket. Our recent Funhouse Comedy Nights have been a great hit, and we are pleased to continue these throughout the season. If you have not checked them out yet then you really should. Another new venture for us will be regular cinema nights - a chance for you to see great films on the big screen and we are delighted that in June we will be holding our first Film Festival. We are sure that we will have something for all tastes during the course of the festival, and you can take advantage of discounts when booking for multiple shows. We have recently received support from Warwickshire County Council, to help promote arts and tourism in North Warwickshire. This included a jointly run event by The Abbey Theatre and Sudden Impulse to provide theatre workshops and family fun days during February Half Term. Don’t forget to join our online mailing list to receive the latest updates straight to your inbox!
