Assignment 2 —1KM2 How do I understand 1km2? I understand the 1km2 into a Hybrid way, it’s a community which get a group of people together and they sharing similar culture, value, eatting hobite, life style... Why? There are so many different Chinatown all over the world, In United state, Holland, UK, France, Italy etc. I am an exchange student from Beijing, China and have been here for 4 months, In order to know different perspective about Holland and China, I started getting to know “Dutch Culture” and "Chinese culture" from “Chinese” view. The people of Rotterdam Chinatown These group of people they are originally from China (Mainland or HK), and lived in Rotterdam for a long time. They speak Dutch, holding Dutch ID, reading Dutch news paper, got Dutch friends arround them. Seams like they already use to the Dutch culture and became "European". Dutch or European people see them as Chinese, but will pure Chinese who never been out side of China before and see them as Chinese? And how will they identity themself? Will they identity themselves as European? Dutch? Chinese or Dutch-Chinese? And how they see China and Netherland.

About In order to make the concept for this project be more reasonable and reacting a real soucial phenomena.
