The section below is a showcase of selected projects that visualise my approach to architecture by utilising core competencies, including conceptual & design thinking, urban mapping & data collection, sketching, structural analysis, and using CAD software; AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Lumion.
Master's Degree Assignments Curriculum-based exercises
The Mundus Urbano Programme in both TUDa in Germany & UIC in Spain focusing on international cooperation in integrated urban development, and emergency architecture. The following pages demonstrate some of the assignments I undertook to accomplish the Master's degree including my research dessirtation.
The focus of this research is to advance an understanding of Disaster Risk Reduction frameworks that comply with refugee camp design and informal camp settlements. The research method consisted of an extensive review of relevant literature on Disaster Risk Reduction frameworks, camp design guidelines, coupled with a context-based review of case studies. The latter is based on a comparative analysis of informal camp - protracted settlement within the urban fabric and emergency camp - planned campsite in a remote area - in Jordan.

The focus of this research is in the area of Palestinian migration in Jordan and their housing conditions, such a study is important in order to provide a comprehensive picture of the current situation of camp dwellers since seven decades, and how the psychological element plays the main role in their lives.

The workshop has been developed with the help of staff and students of the UDEP & RMIT, local NGO's and the community. The objective is to develop and construct a pilot project in an open space area, our contribution through the workshop to develop strategies for the betterment and design of open spaces and children play areas called ‘Parque de la Memoria’ in Pedregal.
