GRADUATE STORIE

Dr Michael King Head of Academy Football Science and Medicine | Motherwell F.C

Dr Michael King - BSc (Hons) Physical Activity and Health - Class of 2012 “I learned a lot of fundamental knowledge. I talk about getting the basics right in my current job, and there was a lot of that. I learned a lot of foundation stuff and got to understand that it’s the most important thing, and you basically build up your knowledge from there. Abertay is a good place to learn. I enjoyed my time on the campus and I enjoyed my time in the city. The content of the modules was good and the course I did gave me a bit of everything.”

ES Airlie Beveridge - BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise - Class of 2017 “I actually didn’t want to go to university at first, I just wanted to go into the world of work. I was a coach with a sports development team in Perth before I came here. They pushed me to come to Abertay. I spoke to Andrea Cameron (the Head of School of Social and Health Sciences) and honestly, you have one conversation with her and you’re convinced about higher education. She’s just amazing. One quarter of the university is involved with sport, and that’s massive. Abertay’s an exciting place to be a part of, it’s growing and growing”

Airlie Beveridge Owner | AB Sports Performance
