“I consider my Abertay experience the most important time of my life. Starting my course as a mature student allowed me to spend my formative years in a foreign country; being exposed not only to a different language and culture, but also to a different way of learning, western philosophy and thinking. “

Choose to study one of Abertay’s Criminology and Sociology degrees and you’ll dig deeper into human behaviour and actions, uncovering how individuals shape and are shaped by the social contexts they inhabit.

These exciting degrees provide you with a wide range of transferable skills giving you the ability to interrogate ideas and generate creative ways of dealing with challenges in any industry.

Our approach means you can keep your options open until you’ve learned more about what really interests you. Having gained two years of knowledge, at the end of year two you choose from one of these pathways: • Carry on studying BA (Hons)

Criminology • BA (Hons) Criminology and Policing • BA (Hons) Criminology and

Sociology

Your chosen course will be reflected in your degree title e.g., BSc (Hons) Criminology and Policing.
