Cybersecurity

“This degree was developed in response to industry and government demand for graduates who are skilled in both cybersecurity and software development. Graduates from the programme will be adept in software engineering practices, computer security, low-level programming and computer architecture, and will go on to take up a wide range of roles within the modern software industry.

Drawing on our teaching expertise in ethical hacking, computing, secure software engineering and human-centred security, this degree will prepare you for the rapidly evolving cybersecurity work environment.

We give you the skills to design and implement secure software systems that are resilient to cyberattack. Working across desktop, mobile and embedded platforms, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of programming and building secure systems through hands-on experience.

BSc (Hons) Cybersecurity

The measures you design will help stop cyberattacks by creating systems with fewer vulnerabilities. When you graduate, you’ll have a range of specialist analytical, operational and developer skills which will make you desirable to potential employers.
