“The Fitness, Nutrition and Health course has allowed me to develop a wide range of knowledge across a whole number of topics. The range of classes means there is always something new and interesting to learn. Placement opportunities let me put this knowledge to use. The staff on the course have been great at teaching us in interesting ways. They’re always willing to help and let us know about further opportunities for placements outwith class - from sports coaching to nutrition volunteers.

Physical activity and nutritional balance are key ingredients in the recipe for a healthier lifestyle.

Our Fitness, Nutrition and Health degree will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to support healthy weight management, nutrition and sports performance challenges head on, with teaching underpinned by research and practical work delivered in our state-of-the-art facilities. For the first two years, you would take Food Science, Nutrition and Wellbeing as a foundation. After that, you can specialise or carry on studying this pathway.
