Summer School in Scotland The summer school involves lectures presented by Abertay University staff and several exciting lecturer-led visits to field and industry locations, which will enhance both the academic and the cultural value of the summer school. The combination of classroom learning and external visits has been designed specifically to complement and enhance learning through personal observation, development of critical thinking skills, social and cultural awareness and to enable students to gain meaningful, hands-on experiences directly linked to course objectives and course assessment. The field visit locations have been hand-picked for this summer school to showcase Scotland as a global leader in business, and as a destination for further study.
