HI HELLO WELCOME
WELCOME TO ABERTAY UNIVERSITY’S SEPTEMBER OPEN DAY. We are a small, successful, pioneering university in the heart of Dundee, and have recently been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Award’s University Of The Year award. We’re incredibly proud of our achievements, and more importantly, the achievements of the thousands of students who have passed through our institution over the years. We specialise in a number of subject areas; from computer games development to law to food innovation to counselling to ethical hacking, and much more. You will be sure to find something that sparks your imagination. Our Open Day has been designed to enable you to see what we can offer should you decide to study with us. Feel free to explore the campus, meet the staff, and attend as many or as few sessions as you like.
Chat to our Student Ambassadors, they are all current Abertay students and will be able to answer any questions you have about the day, and student life in general. Today is your day, so make the most of it and enjoy learning about what we have to offer. However you choose to spend it, we’re confident you will leave our Open Day knowing you will be part of a friendly and close community if you come to study with us. We are currently filming and photographing Abertay Open Day for a marketing and promotional film about the event. If you have any questions or concerns, please let one of our events team know. Thank you for your patience while we work. OPEN DAY REGISTRATION On arrival please report to the main University entrance on Bell Street, where Student Ambassadors will be there to help. All attendees are required to register on arrival by scanning the
barcode on your Open Day ticket. When you arrive, please either have the barcode ready on your phone, or print out your Open Day ticket containing the barcode and bring it with you. Once your ticket has been scanned, you are free to take part in as many or few activities as you wish. STUDENT AMBASSADORS You will easily spot our Student Ambassadors in their red t-shirts. They are all current Abertay students, studying various courses here. You will find them at various points around the campus and they will help you find your way around Abertay and answer any questions you might have about student life. If you’re unsure about anything while you’re visiting Abertay please speak to one of our Student Ambassadors.
