ABE Level 2 Award in Setting Up Your Own Business This is a short formal qualification designed for students age 14+ making it an excellent follow-on from KidsMBA. The qualification is assessed by assignment and culminates in a self-assessment. On successful completion of this Award, the learner will be able to: Understand the benefits and drawbacks of self-employment based on their personal circumstances and needs Demonstrate an awareness of legal responsibilities Outline the business proposition Understand both personal and business monetary needs Understand the requirements for accurate bookkeeping Demonstrate an awareness of financial obligations. This qualification can be offered as a stand-alone course or incorporated into other programmes.
