THE CASTLE: PRIMARY SCHOOL GREATER NOIDA
The Castle School
The school plays a very essential role in a child’s life. Here, a child learns, grows and understand. In the competitive world, there, there are many options for people about their child in a good school. So, a necessity of a good school demands the attraction of the school building. Children, as we know are attracted by cartoons, fairy tales kind of things. So, a new concept arises as The Castle School. The School where a child finds his interest and instead of hating the school, he should enjoy coming to school everyday and learn the things accordingly. THE CASTLE LOOK OF THE SCHOOL BUILDING IS A DEMAND BUT PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE STRUCTURE IS A NECESSITY. The orientation of the building as per sunlight and needs of the different age groups of children has been taken care off. A special kind of section for mentally disabled children for example autism is given inside the school building so that the children would note the behavior of normal children and imitate them, but at the same time they will remain in the special supervision of the school head authorities. Care has been taken for multipurpose hall for school students as well as for outside guests, i.e. two entrances has been provided. The stationary and the uniform shops are present in the well reachable area to all. Landscaping has been done throughout while maintaining the Castle look of the school.

CONCEPTUAL ZONING Concept, Master planning, 3D views, Presentation
Concept is to make the Campus self-reliant and sustainable with regard to its requirements of power, water and even possibly day to day requirements of natural food.
Economical Sustainability • High level of sensitivity in planning so as to cut down the cost of cutting and filling which will lead to huge construction costs and despoil the natural ecological environment which we have avoided to maximum extent. •The building designs have been taking the advantage of the contours to create dynamic structures with minimum cutting and filling. • The road network has been kept minimum both in length as with careful consideration of contours to cut down the cost of construction and defiling the site.
Environmental Sustainability Probably this is the most important form of sustainability where we aimed in the development of our campus with minimum adverse impact on its environment. Not only our design aimed at minimum cutting of trees it has also incorporated most aspects of a green, environmental campus friendly, healthy and sustainable.

Primary Roads Are 4 Lanes With A Divider , These Roads Have Been Provided To Give Access To All Major Zones Of University Starting From Main Entry Point Of Campus. Secondary Roads Are 2 Lanes Which Are Peripheral Roads Connecting Various Schools With Each Other And With The Central Plaza Having The Public Zone Buildings These Roads Also From The Primary Road Link The Stadium, Hostels And Form Peripheral Ring Around The Residential Complex. Tertiary Roads Are Provided To Give Linkages Between Various Buildings In The Zones Or Sub-zones Such As The Academic Campus Linkages To School Of Art Between Various Hostel Blocks Within Sports Campus And To The Faculty And Staff Club.
Since University Campus Is Spread Out Horizontally, It Will Be Necessary That The Distribution Is Made On High Voltage ELECTRICAL LAYOUT System. Therefore Supply Is Proposed To Be Received At 33KV At Two Locations And Further Stepped Down To 11 KV. Exclusive Use Of Solar Energy Shall Be Done For Which Solar And Wind Farms Are Located At High Areas Of The Site
Proposal for solar, energy farms and biograde waste energy generation systems. SEWAGE TREATMENT: As Sewage treatment and disposal has always been critical problem, a Bio-Toilet System is proposed for the project. The system is based on a bacteria developed by Defense Research & Development Organization which simply converts human waste into smell free & solid/sub solid waste free water which is fertile in nature and can be used directly for irrigation. Also methane is produced at the same time which is proposed to be used to address a portion of the hostel kitchens. WASTE WATER RECYCLING: The treated water from Bio-Toilet tank shall be further used for various purposes like flushing, irrigation, etc.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY: The architecture design of the Old Age Home had to be visually appealing and Dwarka City is also connected to the culture and history of New Delhi. # Ground floor was to be used as a public space for Public Functions, Corporate
Meetings to generate some revenue for the Non-Governmental Organization.
The Functionality Of The Structure Was To Be Taken Care Off As This Old Age Home Would Also Cater To Blind People. The project site set in characterless Dwarka City which has a Mixed Land Use (M.L.U.) concept having 80% Residential and 20% Commercial. The low construction budget was a main constraint that had to be dealt with clever and innovative designing ideas which also could cater an Environmental Responsive Design and adapts principles of passive design from antecedents in history. The major landmark is ISKON Temple in Dwarka.
The selection of the building material was based on the locally available materials. The design reviews the importance of architectural design in Old Age Home for the Blind and visually impaired as regards site, green areas, building type(design), entrances, motion axes, flooring, etc. PLOT AREA= 2000 SQ. With only scant amount of water and spirited design all the water in the world can be called to mind. Along with earth, air and fire, water had long been regarded as one of the four basic elements of the universe. This life giving water appears over and over as a common thread woven through the religion, and art of every culture culture. USE OF WATER IN DESERTS In the hot dry climate countries water was used for the treatment of environment and for its implication of coolness. The use of water in the built environment is though sands of years old and is interwoven throughout its long history with symbolism and religious rites as well as with sensual delight; BHARATPUR: AN EASTERN GATEWAY OF RAJASTHAN.
A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY OF KESHAV BHAWAN TO STUDY THE THUNDERING EFFECT BY NATURAL WATER FOUNTAIN SYSTEM RAINFALL The rainfall over Bharatpur is scanty and is concentrated over four month, i.e. from June to September. The rains are erratic and so is the distribution of the rainfall. The average rainfall is 646 mm, 95 % of the annual rains is experienced during June and September. CLIMATE The climate of Bharatpur is generally dry, the maximum average temperature during summer is 44 degree Celsius to 47 degree Celsius and during winters it is 5 degree Celsius to 1 degree Celsius.

Deeg Palace, A Very Meaningful Application Of Water Satisfies The Architectural Aspect. The Attention To The Various Forms Of Water Is Given When It Is Still, Flows, Spouts Up Or Helps In Organizing Various Spaces. Thus It Involves The Bold Implications Of Forms And Qualities Of Water To Enhance The Architectural Principles To Organize This Palace. Its Reflective And Auditory Quality Created An Oasis Of Tranquility In The Palace. The Mirror Like Quality Of Water Enhances The Architectural Forms By Reflecting Them On The Water Surface. Another Striking Feature Are The Fountains, Water Of Which Comes From The Reservoir In The Palace.

LIFE PROJECT AND DESIGN PROPOSAL: BAMBOO KIOSK AUROVILLE Bamboo is a versatile material of construction that is light weight and strong, this sustainable material was used and implemented in making a Kiosk at the Auroville Visitor Centre. The structure was to be used as a display and interaction point by Auroville units that offer sustainable products or services. Elements of the Kiosk: 1. Foundation 2. Metal Sheet (Roof Covering) KIOSK DESIGN PROPOSAL After the life project of building a kiosk was done, we had to give our proposals for Kiosk in groups and given a brief according to which, a space that can used as a knock down structure of 8-10 sq. meter that can be used as a “Street fruit or vegetable stand, place for the vendor to rest during the slow hours and storage of his / her tools and consumables.
CONCEPT: The form and structure has been conceived keeping in mind that the kiosk is to be mounted on a side walk without disturbing the pedestrian traffic. There is proper provision for display and storage. The vender can rest during slow hours on a hanging hammock bed that is supported on main structural members. The LED light lamps are used for lighting purpose for which solar cells can be used. The side walls are detachable cane panels.
