Sfax is a city full of potential and loaded with memory, whose water has been a main element in its structure and culture and which has been a support for the community life of its inhabitants. A character that was abandoned for lack of time, and then began to fade into oblivion. In an attempt to re-integrate water into the city and into memory, the concept of reminiscence is used as a tool to restore the essence of the place. By speaking to meaning and immersing the visitor in space, reminiscence provides a sensitive experience that awakens memory and transforms the visitor from a simple spectator to a 'surveyor' who dialogues with his environment.

W ATER PAVILLON R E MINISCENT OF WATER PR OJ ECT 5 T H Y E A R ( G R A D UATIO N) S I T E : S FA X , TA PA R UR A YE A R : 2020 In a time where we are looking for an alternative to the dehumanization of our spaces, The reminiscence offers another perception of a conceptual process rich in reflections and sensitivity, considering man in all his dimensions and also space with all his potentialities, where water imposes itself as a catalyst of emotion.

Far from recreating what was before, we seek through the project to remember the history of water by creating spaces for meetings and special exhibitions dedicated to water, at the urban scale and the architectural scale. A pavilion that will act as a water ambassador, telling its story, raising awareness of its protection and its future. With a program that aims to be a revealer of memory: to recall, but also an encounter space that meets the needs of the city and revives the abandoned by producing a sensory stroll towards the sea.

Our first objective is to make young people aware of agriculture, to train them in this field, and to bring the culture of agriculture into their daily lives. We found that there is a lot of potential in the center of Gonesse, a priority district right next door, the Croult, a dense suburban fabric right next door, and an industrial fabric on the other side and schools from where you can has set up an agricultural training center to train young people with no qualifications and the unemployed.

So we started to develop the Land, according to the Horizontal cadastre that existed and to put greenhouses and wooden Stables in order to mix nature, animals, and human beings. We thought about making a park for the inhabitants just next door to invite them to enter, and to practice, this park which extends to the ground next to Leroy Merlin to connect the 3 fabrics with a bridge. And then we started to upgrade a path from Saint Blin to Leroy Merlin, with the addition of the Missing Tracks and the addition of the Tulip gardens on the sides and the CROULT becomes an inviting element.
31
We chose to install the Frame which is the Training center on a Bitumen Land to Preserve the maximum of agricultural land and to take advantage of a panoramic elevated view of the Land to create a showcase on the fields to at least hide a little this blind facade. We chose to use ecological materials, wood and straw to take advantage of existing materials and have a thick horizontal reading that imitates the ground and hides the massive box of Leroy Merlin.
