ISOLATED AREAS -LACK OF CONNECTION
Vast empty fields between the residential areas form huge negative fences to the surroundings and block the normal communication of a neighbourhood. They only transmit noise and bad views and tell nothing about the surroundings.
NEW CONNECTIONS
The waste area in between the traffic lines is taken into versatile usage which will benefit all the communities in the area. Also new structures and well designed crossing points attract people into interaction with their surroundings and give the area into more profitable usage. The new areas are made visible for the residents and visitors with good viewoints and landmarks.
UNDERUSED GREEN AREA
Újpest is located in the borderlines of the city and it has huge green areas considered as non space, not usable area, when it could provide competitive possibility combining the foresides of city life and healthy green fields, parks and natural views.
MORE GREEN - MORE LEASURE
The waste areas are to be replaced with quality built green space . The green is pushed into it’s maximum from both sides, to fade out the unpleasant grey areas and to provide more spce to the residents to spend time in. For example over the rail there is to be built attracting grean area, where the two sides can be connected.
UNFINISHED PUBLIC SPACE & UNFBALANCED NEIGHOURHOOD
The structure of existing infrastructure and network of services, workplaces, public spaces and activities is not supporting a healthy independent community and feeling of home and belonging. It does not have any spaces to be and spent time in nor spaces or marks to indentify with. It practically drives away the inhabitants.
NEW PUPLIC CHARACTER, IDENTITY & ACTIVITY
Taking care of the quality and the differenciation of the puplic space the well being and interest of inhabitants is ensured. Providing enough working places and supporting functions the quality spaces can live and develop. With adding character it is ensured that the activity that the visitors bring will make the area more valuable for the inhabitants.
