Billionaire on trial in US for insider trading Lanka-born Rajaratnam was running a vast network of tipsters and informants

Raj Rajaratnam, hedge fund billionaire of Sri Lankan origin, is facing trial in New York for alleged insider trading. According to an FBI phone tap which was played inside the court, Rajaratnam was heard discussing prospective trade and deals with tipsters and informants.
