The Payoff Is Worth It
A well designed AI and synchronization program can deliver significant benefits to individual and herd reproductive efficiency that will add value for a lifetime. It all starts with getting more cows pregnant and pregnant earlier in the season. A synchronized AI program gives every cow the chance to conceive on day one of the breeding season and gives her more chances to conceive over the length of the season. The end result is more calves born earlier which both contribute to more uniformity and more pounds to sell at weaning.
